My husband and I had a wonderful time at Brimblecomb Hill. Gene was a lovely host — he recommended a few great places to see around town, some amazing restaurants, and he took care of any special requests we had. Additionally, the room was very nice and comfortable, and the shared bathroom was always kept very neat. The town itself was gorgeous. It is just full of history, and if you’re not into that sort of thing, there is also a really cool downtown and some amazing scenery. We are already planning our next trip there!

What a cute place this is and such a great location! Gene is such a fabulous host! He gives great advice on where to go. We really enjoyed our 2 nights here. We stayed in a room with a shared bathroom and as hesitant as we were, it ended up being not a big deal at all. Parking is easy as well. He gives you a parking pass, so don’t worry about that. Oh, UberX goes here from Boston and it’s only around $ 30…although that was at night with only a little traffic. Definitely give this gem a try… it’s so cozy and the hospitality is terrific :-)

This is our fourth time in Marblehead and third time at Brimblecomb. We always stay in the Isaac Mansfield room and couldn’t be happier. Lined with books and a four poster bed it beyond warm and comfy. Look out your window and your view is Town Hall and historic old town. The owner Gene is so friendly and warm and we love to talk to him. My husband and I also love the common area where we play Scrabble at night or I sit and knit(sounds like we’re old but really only in our 30’s!!) Breakfast is self serve and consists of muffins from The Muffin Shop which are always amazing and cereal/fruit/coffee. No set times or schedules like some places so we can sleep in a little, grab a muffin and walk around the most beautiful town in America! If you’re coming to Marblehead… Stay at Brimblecomb!
