My sister lives in the neighborhood and bought some of Becky’s muffins for a gathering at her home. They were very good, so I stopped in and picked some up to take home. Big enough to share, but you probably won’t want to. Becky’s store is very small, but really sweet. I was in there near Valentines Day and she had individual and super decadent heart shaped brownies fresh from the oven.

Becky of Becky’s Gourmet is GREAT… Her food is to die for… (the brownies and muffins are not low calorie, but they are worth every calorie !!!
You need to try the cut fruit and home made soups…

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! The bread is amazing. The muffins are so good and very fluffy! The sandwiches are really good and every thing in them goes very well together. The pre made dinners are amazing and very filling. Every time my mother and I are near by we have to get something! This place is amazing!

Warning: the blueberry muffins are like crack! You’ll be jonesing for them after your first one. Never ever dry. Fluffy and lovely.
And everyone there is lovely, too.

I am a local to Marblehead and wondered why I had not stopped by this gem sooner! I now go out of my way to pick up a muffin for the next morning at work– they are so good I am willing to commute carrying them to my desk in Boston! My favorite is Raspberry but they don’t have it too often– can’t say I have had a bad one and I have tried about 4 other varieties.
The produce selection is just enough to give you options and they make the best use of their relatively small space. I have yet to try the take-home meals but they sure look yummy. Becky’s caters too so that is why they have an edge with prepared foods.
My guilty pleasure is one of their vanilla cupcakes with its tower of frosting.
You won’t be sorry for making a visit!

Becky’s is a gem. An excellent place to pick up some fresh fruit or a limited (but clutch) selection of fresh veggies. Perfect for anything short of a full on trip to the grocery store. Prepared food is very good. Staff is very friendly. Sandwiches featured on the counter offer a couple tasty options and are big enough to split. Step in for the fresh baked aromas, you’ll be happy you did.

Be prepared for greatness…
If the scents wafting thru the air don’t catch you and draw you in from 114 or Bessom, then the welcome, warm hug feeling you get when you open the door will. The blueberry muffin absolutely kicked Jordan Marsh’s butt (for those of you old enough to remember)…
What an wonderful experience… can’t wait for my next visit!
