Huddle House

Stop in all the time on the way to Chattanooga. The food is always good and plentiful. They always have a promotion running that provides more bang for the buck. The staff and service are prompt and polite. The restaurant is always clean. A lot like a ‘waffle house’, just higher on the scale.

I just got some food at this Huddle House with my family, and the food wasn’t that great. I got a sandwich platter with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was ok, but the sweet potato fries were awful! Two of my other family members got a breakfast platter and a country fried streak platter. These were mediocre as well (kind of like a bland frozen dinner). They didn’t cook the eggs right, and the waffle was so so. The country fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans tasted like a frozen dinner the most; the potatoes were obviously instant. In the end, I do not recommend this place to eat. If anyone can make it to either Jasper or Dawsonville for some grub then I totally recommend doing so, because it’s not worth the money even if the owner is very nice. I wish Marble Hill had better fast food choices…

Best breakfast in a very, very long time. For fellow southerners, beats any Waffle House hands down. And — stacks up well against high end hotels. In particular at 30−40% of price. Recommended!
