Really delightful! Smallish menu, but leaves nothing to be desired. Great for people with dietary preferences/restrictions, although nobody in my party has any. I had the turkey salad taco, and the shell especially was out of this world. I personally prefer less celery, and was embarassed when I had a small mountain of celery left when one of the very attentive severs took my plate! Totally my own little quirk, not the restaurant’s responsibility. Service was great; everyone pitched in, nobody hovered, and it actually felt as if they were genuinely pleased every time they could help us. I think as the café gets more profitable, they may think about upgrading the décor. They’ve not done a bad job at all, but it could use a bit more.

Ok, first impressions: you park in the back and go in what would look like a back door. It’s not. Then you come into what looks like a warehouse with painted walls. They give you a nice menu and take your drink order. We ordered 2 chicken tacos and 1 tuna taco. I had the tuna, I will address that. There was a very nice amount of tuna that was moist and flavorful. The taco also had sprouts(not sure what kind) inside with the tuna, served over a spinach salad and a side of a vinegarette dressing. It was all good, but what made it special was the taco shell. OMG! My SIL from Marble Falls said it was made from brown rice flour. I dunno what it made from, but it was knock your hat in the creek good! I loved it! And I am an obese 60 year old pure carnivore, but I LOVED it. Now, the service. Excellent. Attentive staff. Our drinks never ran dry. It was not always our server doing the refills, but it was always someone. If we didn’t live 10 hours away, I would be a regular here.

Just ate here. This restaurant feels more like an Austin place rather than Marble Falls. Really good, healthy food! I love Blue Bonnet and Spykes and Tamale King and Super Taco(which is right across the street) as much as the next guy, but sometimes you want something healthy even if you’re at the lake! This is the place. Great salad bar… lots of healthy and quality choices. Also, nice and attentive staff.

Terribly short staffed. Had to go to the bar twice to ask for help. 30 min and no food. Waiter and bat person had to go ask cool every question we asked as they had no idea what was in the food. Buffet was empty for 20 minutes. Real shame. Been back twice since because everyone insisted they must been having an off day. They were right. Last two visits were awesome. Cleanest food in MF

So delicious. I had the chicken tacos and I just don’t remember having anything tasting this good. Attentive staff warm and friendly. I wish there was one around Fort Worth.

My wife and I were visiting Marble Falls and were worried we couldn’t find a good restaurant that serves gluten free food, as my wife has celiac disease and cannot eat gluten. Much to our surprise, we discovered a «gluten-free» gem, Tea Thyme! I ordered the chicken tacos which were, without a doubt, the greatest chicken tacos I’ve ever had. And I live in South Texas. My wife ordered the tostada and she loved it and all she kept saying was how she can’t wait to come back again. Our server Nikki couldn’t have been more charming or personable. Even if you don’t need to eat gluten-free food, this place is a must stop if you’re in Marble Falls. Again, the chicken tacos. Do it!

The yellow walls are cheerful and the staff was attentive and easy breezy! Loved the food! Healthy and yummy. 1 complaint — the buffet bread tasted like the fabric softener of the napkin it was wrapped in. But overall — yum!

I am so happy to have found a place like this. Getting and staying healthy is hard. It is nice to have a safe heaven to go to. I came in for a breakfast smoothie. I had to come back for a salad bar lunch. I am looking forward to making this a regular stop for some good real food!

The décor suffers from an identity crisis, but get past that and enjoy one delicious breakfast! I ordered the Good Morning Big Breakfast, and it did not disappoint. I left with a belly full of moist gluten-free pancakes, real butter(joy!), an abundant amount of bacon(more than just the standard 2!), and delicious eggs. I highly recommend this restaurant for choosing quality ingredients without exorbitant prices! PS: Note to management: might be good to reduce the amount of real butter provided. While I LOVED having so much at my disposal, I worry it might eat into your costs since only a small portion of the huge helping is being used. Just a thought. I want you guys to stick around! :)

Had a great lunch at Tea Thyme Café. I was very impressed by the gluten free tortillas. Don’t know how they made them so good. Excellent waiter! We will definitely be going back!

These guys know their TEA! I love how the breakfast taco is grilled. The tortilla had a crunch to it. Very health conscious menu here! I dig it.

This place is so cute! I have only been once and I really enjoyed the idea of it. I ordered the chicken tacos/no cheese which at first site looked amazing! They were very good! I got them to go which I think would be my only complaint. After sitting in the box for a little bit they got cold and the«tortilla» tasted weird and crunchy. I know that they are made out of a rice paper or something which might have been why. The ranch that comes with them is so good but man it will light your mouth on fire! There was a salad under my chicken tacos that was yummy but I wish it had a little sprinkle of Feta cheese! I will definitely be back for the chicken tacos but this time I will dine in! Ps the portions are big!

The last time I came here I wanted the salad & hot bar. Apparently they take it down at 2pm. So this time I got here at 1:05 only to be told that they no longer have the hot bar. I ordered a lemonade(which was fabulous last time) but it had a very strange flavor as though they had added some unidentifiable juice to it. So I asked for an organic rootbeer. A couple of minutes later the waiter comes back to say they are out of rootbeer and the only other soda they have is blueberry(nah). Ok, are any of these 4 kinds of tea sweet? Nope!(This is TX right?) Water it is! I wanted to leave at this point but against my better judgement stayed. I ordered a Grilled Turkey with a Salad. The turkey was a dry thick slices turkey, melty cheese, tomato and some sweet sauce? The«Salad» WASONLYLETTUCE! Not one cucumber, no trace of any other vegetable! The photos speak for themselves! I will not be back!

I make a trip to Marble Falls, TX every year in late fall. And as my allergy to wheat has come to light, I always refer to Unilocal to help guide me to my next gluten-free feast on the road. Who would have thought little ol’ Marble Falls would boast a 100% gluten-free café? Not I! Now, this place is interesting to say the least and is, based on appearances(which can be deceiving!), not immediately a place I’d generally see myself spending ample amounts of time in. Located adjacent to a gas station/taco stand combo, Tea Thyme Café is bigger on the inside(much like the beloved TARDIS). Seemingly small but lofty when you walk in the door, you will soon notice a second large dining room to the right. However on this day, only the main dining room was open, and myself and the boy were the only patrons. At least four employees stood at the front counter laughing and gossiping and told us to sit wherever we’d like. Our server greeted us with menus and was quick to assume that we had never been to the establishment. Kudos to you, Tea Thyme Café, for having a seemingly loyal clientele. Our server helped guide our menu selections(«Don’t go for the pizza. The tacos are our biggest sellers.»). I chose the chicken tacos and the boy went for turkey. While we waited for our food, I stepped inside the empty second dining room to take a gander at their lunch«buffet», and saw the saddest little array of trays under heat lamps I had ever seen. Mostly empty, some unrecognizable, I was definitely glad that I hadn’t toyed with the idea of trying to stuff myself with plate after plate of food that apparently wasn’t available anyway. Shortly after returning back to my seat, our plates arrived. These«tacos» were absolute monsters. Giant mountains of turkey and chicken filled with fresh vegetables and slathered with their respective sauces stuffed inside crispy, gluten-free-not-quite-tortilla-like shells. ANDHOLYCOWTHEYWEREDELICIOUS. I’m not one to mix meat with fruit, so I wasn’t really into the combination of turkey and mandarin oranges of the boy’s tacos, but I really wanted about five more plates of my chicken tacos, which came packed with fresh avocado, tomato and spicy ranch dressing. Seriously, I’m thinking about these chicken tacos right now, and I’m very sad that I live over 1,000 miles away and won’t be back to Marble Falls until the end of the year. The service was prompt, though awkward at times. Our waiter liked to linger in awkward silence over our table after checking on us. And the only ambiance we really experienced while we were eating was the laughing and chatter of the employees at the counter. The price was reasonable, however I found it odd that we had to pay at a separate back counter that wasn’t manned. I’m assuming there is just an entirely different feel to the place during a rush. All in all, I can’t wait to come back this year — even though that’s months away! TLDR: COMEFORTHECHICKENTACOS. STAYFORTHECHICKENTACOS!
