From age 2 to 7 I went to pick up my brothers from camp here. They always came back and talked about how awesome camp was and I was so excited to finally go when I was 8. Well, since then I’ve been 8 years and it’s so much better than I could’ve ever expected and hoped for. I have been to two terms and at both I have made lifelong friends, both with the counselors and with the other campers. Everything is in such good condition and quality (air-​conditioned cabins are a must in Texas heat) and I wouldn’t trade my years here for anything in the world. If you want to send your kids to camp, I recommend CBS above all else!

Took my best friend here for her 40th birthday «Girls Weekend Away» and had the time of our lives! Exquisite nature preserve, professional, kind staff, chef-​prepared meals and soft beds — I just can’t say enough great things about this camp. Can’t wait to go back!

A wonderful location for a large retreat or small group. The food exceeded expectations. The activities were a blast (climbing wall, zip line horses, boats, etc). The setting is beautiful. And, the facilities are well above average for what one might think of for a summer camp. Highly recommended as a get-​away.
