The Cuban Rubin was great. We also tried the Greek Salad, I would say NO to it. Dressing should been a creamy Greek. I’m not sure what it was but it was wrong. Hardly no Feta Cheese on salad. All in all I would go back. It was nice and clean.

There’s a reason the Nowhere Bar & Grill is the Home of the Cuban Reuben — they’ve really nailed it! Delicious! So flavorful! Great fries & slaw, as well! The Backened Hogfish sandwich(Fish Out of Water) was amazing, too! Customer service was top notch. Highly recommend this place!

A great addition to the restaurant choices in Marathon. We’ve had lunch here 3 times in the past 3 weeks. The Cuban Reuben sandwich is fabulous and large enough for 2 to share. Although the location does not afford a water view(on Overseas Highway), the food is much better than some waterside venues. Hoping Nowhere Bar & Grill prospers unlike other restaurants that have come & gone at this location.

Delicious !!! My husband had the cuban Reuben and swears it’s one of the best sandwiches he’s ever had ! I had the pulled pork platter. The pork was seasoned perfectly, reminded me of my moms, the black beans were delicious and tasted homemade. And the yummers for desert with key lime butter were yummy !!! Our service was spot on! Thank you Al C.

Not sure how the reviews are so mixed for this place. I truly do not know how anyone gave above two stars. This place had some major shortcomings when I dined there: –there were only two staff in the front of the house(a bartender and a server.) They were overwhelmed and as a result, the service was terrible. –the food was mediocre at best and not prepared as requested. –it took way, way, way too long to get food out. We were short on time and it made us late to our next destination.

Mediocre food and terrible service. We were visiting and saw all the reviews on Unilocal and decided to try this place. When we walked we were greeted and seated right away. It has a pleasant bar atmosphere. There were two other groups/tables. One just finishing and another waiting on their food. We were given drinks by the hostess and we sat for quite some time before our waitress Elizabeth came to our table. After 15 – 20 minutes she finally took our order. While we were waiting for our good four other groups of people came in. Two of which received their food before us. We sat there for 30 – 40 wAiting on food. Our waitress never brought us any drinks refills do the hostess/owner did. Our waitress didn’t bring out our food or even go check to see what the long wait was all about. The hostess/owner finally went to see what happened to our order. My guess is the one thing the waitress did do well didn’t do was put in our order. After we ate what we could, the waitress didn’t even process our check! At one point she saw I had it laying out. She walked to our table and then turned around as though she thought of something else. It was unbelievable. It’s a good thing the hostess/owner did her job for her. I wished I could say the food was worth the wait, but the fries had too much hot seasoning on them, and they were to hot to eat. We were to afraid to send anything back for fear of spending the rest of the afternoon there.(The table next to us sent their fries back and waited 15 minutes.). Not sure how long this place will be in business. We don’t live here, but I wouldn’t return if I did!

My family & I stopped in for dinner and were seated and given menus promptly. The menu seemed a bit limited(one page) but we decided on our meals. The problem was after 15 minutes no one came to take our order. I guess they were too busy serving the regulars at the bar. We ended up leaving.

My first impression was the place was very clean and organized which is atypical for the Keys. I thought the service was extra special and had a southern approach/hospitality. Our waitress(Megan) did a great job explaining the history of the location and the family involvement from front of house to kitchen. My food was grilled yellowtail, steamed broccoli and cole slaw. The fish was well prepared and the broccoli was al dente. The cole slaw was basic but lacked any unique flavor. One interesting item was the Picadillo slider. This was very tasty and had a sweet plantain tucked away inside! Overall I’d go back for the fish, service and the Picadillo Slider.

Not sure why it was so empty the night we went but it was delicious! My daughter had the Cuban and said it was the best sandwich she’s every had. I had the yellow tail snapper sandwich blackened and it was super yummy as well. So go and try them. You won’t be disappointed!

Gumbo is good! The place is a little bright with lights. But that is ok I like to see my food first time around! Also had a patty melt and enjoyed it too. Will go again.

After a good weekend in Key West we started to hit the road and eventually find something on our way home. Well I was sleeping when I woke up to the silence and the heat. I have to be honest, we walked in and I was like uh oh, this place is probably not going to be good. With a major hangover, I probably would’ve ate anything so I sat down with the rest of my group. I didn’t know what to order. I knew a salad was the healthiest but not the best for hangovers. I didn’t know what I wanted, so I ordered beef nachos from the appetizers. Everyone’s food was coming out, salads, jambalayas, burgers, and there was my nachos. O-M-G huge! Had so much goodness to it. I was so happy with my choice, they even used queso fresco not those generic powder/cream cheese’s. I know it’s just nachos but it was pretty darn good. The portions are huge! Now the service… This is not Miami, it was the keys and I didn’t get her name but she was awesome. Always tentative and I couldn’t be any happier. This is definitely a place out of nowhere but is really good. The menu is small and simple. Sometimes places get too overwhelming so this worked out perfect.

I stopped by here to get a closer look… and a photo on our way through marathon on the way to Key West. We wanted a quick bite to eat as the stop n go traffic extended our trip there to the point we were starting to digest the inner walls of our stomachs(at least it felt that way). It’s a 50 – 60 seat restaurant with cool and colorful décor. My Unilocal app gave it’s blessing to try this menu out. We had the Gumbo and the«Cuban Reuben» with pulled pork instead of corned beef. While the Gumbo was too watery and not as tasty, the Cuban Reuben was incredible. There are a few good craft drafts on tap. Don’t get the Grapefruit Margarita. It was made with Ruby Red Grapefruit juice, which was a good thing, but their lime juice is Rose’s or something just as wretched. I recommend squeezing four or five limes, adding simple syrup, tequila, triple sec, and grapefruit. It takes a few more seconds but is much better. This is a winner for the Cuban Reuben. It’s worth going Nowhere to get…

The staff is so friendly, and takes pride in its menu. I knew I was in for a treat, and I wasn’t disappointed. I had the pulled pork, which was really good. It included seasoned pulled pork, which was really good, sweet plantains, white rice and black beans. It was fantastic. Even more impressive was the appetizer — beer-battered mushrooms with a spicy dipping sauce — that was, once again, terrific. I finished it off with a slice of tango mango cheesecake, which was really good. We stopped in because traffic on US1 was backed up due to a bad accident on our way from the Keys to Fort Lauderdale. What a gem. The menu, itself, includes several Latin-inspired entrées. I would encourage you to check this place out while on your visits to and/or from Key West.
