This place was great! Clean, nice friendly people. Gulf side so no swimming. Paddle boats, kayaks need to be updated. Overall a very enjoyable place!

We had an excellent stay here, the owner Mike is awesome and they were very accommodating, letting us delay our check out due to a baby issue we had to resolve. Yes this is not an 5-​star hotel and the owner will frankly tell you that, if you want that, pay triple and stay in a big hotel. Our room was decent and clean and we did not experience any issues, we had a peaceful stay and will both return and recommend this place to people.

We’ve been coming here for years and we won’t stay anywhere else! The family who owns this delightful oasis is a nice as they come. Adorable comfy rooms with an island feel. The hammocks under the palm trees, the grills by the tiki huts, the kayaks and paddleboats. Everything about this place is fun, friendly and relaxing.
If you want an authentic Keys experience this is your place.

Dirty Room with less than sanitary conditions. False reviews on the web are tricking and you may want to read some of the negative ones to see the truth. This place is very run down and the family that owns it is sweet until you tell them you are unhappy and the place is dirty, then they tell you cant work a shower that’s why you have cold water or that other rooms are better and you just have the one that’s not up to par. Beware of so many reasons not to stay here. I cannot warn you enough about this place. Picks online look great but there are major safety and structural issues with this place. Green Mold in pool and bathroom, Extension cord everywhere in room. Brocken refrigerator. Nasty stains on bedding and mattress, Like old urine stains. Gross.

Awesome place! The family that runs it are so nice and laid back. They really care about keeping your vacation happy and stress free. Location and environment was very resort like and relaxing. Brought my puppy that’s about 6 months old and they were really cool about having a pet there and really enjoyed having us. Highly recommend this place

This place is awesome! There was a total of 8 of us and two dogs both less than a year old and everything was perfect. The owners are so sweet and accommodating and the small intimate nature of the place really adds to the relaxation you want to experience in the keys.
The ages of our group ranged from 15 – 40’s and there was something for everyone; from the paddle boats and kayaks always available to take out on the gulf to being able to kick back in the hammock or sit by the pool with a beer it was a great stay all around
I’d definitely recommend for any age group and I’ll be coming back

A lovely family run hotel overlooking the water! Rooms are clean and charming with air conditioning. The owner is extremely friendly and easygoing and has an adorable little Maltese dog (for those who are not dog people, not to worry — he’s always on the other side of the office door unless you request to pet him). They have refrigerators, a stove and even dishes and utensils, so we were able to cook our own breakfast and eat outside on the lovely outdoor patio. They even have hammocks under the shade of palm trees with a view of the water, great place to take a little nap! We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back again!

This place is AMAZING. The family who owns this place is so sweet. We had a little TV connection problem upon arrival, and the owner came down to fix it immediately. Our condo is spotless. Anyone who stays here needs to visit the parrots and Ziggy the Sulcata tortoise. I spent a lot of time watching and talking to Ziggy. The pool is heated and spacious. It’s a very laid back, relaxing atmosphere. The beds aren’t the most comfortable, but they more than make up for it with the service and amenities available.
