Another try and another disappointment. Chicken Caesar Panini was substandard. Shredded lettuce(unseasoned) was stuffed in a pita with pieces of chicken and much too large pieces of red onion. The taste was of onion with some chicken.

Authentic Italian pizzas here… I cannot rate the other Italian dishes, but the pizza is the real thing ! On this trip we sat at the bar and had great service from the bartender– a young lady. When I got my wine, I mentioned to my partner that it tasted like it had been open for a few days(I know wine). She overheard me and brought me a new glass before I said anything to her at all. It was fun to eat at the bar which is something I normally do not do. I can’t wait to be back !!! They also sell cigars from a humidor !

I have had Italian in many countries all over the world to include Italy, but the pizza I would say ties for the best I have ever had with a greek/Italian restaurant in Germany and just ahead of a cuban pizza place in Columbus farmers market in New Jersey. I had to go back to try a pasta dish, basic spaghetti and meatballs is how I rate restaurants, I rate Vero #3 in the world after a Italian restaurant in Geelong, Australia and the same Greek/Italian restaurant in Germany. Keep up the good work. What a great value for what the money!

I’ve visited this location a few times in the last year. I feel as though the service and food are less than mediocre. I would not recommend to my family or friends. Choose differently for real italian, just my honest opinion.

I love this place, I always went to the one on fort Lowell and luckily they put one in my neighborhood! I come here usually every Wednesday. Always have a few drinks at the bar and watch the game. Unfortunately, because of the public reaction to the«no Unilocalers» sign there has been the elite Unilocalers protesting out front. I added the picture of them out front.

Food is sub-par. $ 23 for a salmon dish that was terrible. Salmon had tons of salt on it. It wasn’t «blackened» it was just encrusted in salt. Plus the sauce didn’t work with the salmon and it said it would have different ingredients in it(menu didn’t match the plate). Owner wasn’t very friendly. When I walked in she said«Who are you?» Unless I misheard her. Either way, food is way overpriced and the chef can’t cook.

AMAZING! I tried the prosciutto panini and it was so good! I went in to get a sandwich for me and my parents and they told me one person couldn’t eat a whole one so we got 2 for the 3 of us. I wasn’t sure how big they would be but when I opened the box there was more than enough food. We got the Caesar panini and the prosciutto and they were both fantastic and very fresh. I will definitely be going back.

Okay all, this is not real authentic Italian. It is watered down wannabe kinda Italian. Pizza is great. Outside of that it has been poor every time we have ordered or been here. Tonight in particular I asked for the Pomodoro cooked Al dente. It arrived soupy and soggy. Apparently THEYPRECOOKTHEIRPASTA! As a Sicilian, this is a HUGE error. You NEVER precook pasta because it gets soggy. The manager’s response was he would make a fresh one however it would take another twenty minutes. So I guess they overcook it from scratch too! It takes 7 minutes to boil pasta and prepare the Pomodoro while it is boiling. Come on not difficult. Their menu states that everything is made to order so it takes longer and they believe the food is worth the time. Simply they are lying. Oh yeah and the chicken Cacciatore was dry as a bone. Yeah wannabe Italian cooking.

OH! Love this place! First off, they have a very good selection of beer and wine and a great happy hour. Sitting up at the bar is fun. The staff is super friendly. Last time I sat up at the bar, the kitchen was experimenting with some new meatballs and gave us some free to try in exchange for our opinion. I seriously haven’t met a food item that i don’t like here! Their house bread is excellent. I wouldn’t say to write home to mom about it, but they do serve it with some amazing herb butter! I also love their pizzas(my favorite is the bianca but I love white pizzas!), bruschetta, and burrata. Caution on the burrata… they do not serve enough bread with it! They have an excellent happy hour with 5 dollar house wines(and like I mentioned above, the selection is great!) and deals on their appetizers and beers. It is a small, quaint place. Very clean. If it is cool enough out, they have a beautiful patio area! This will be a place I frequent! Next time I want to try that cookie!

Great wood fired pizza. Everything was quick and efficient and you get a lot of food for your money. Not a huge space tho and reservations are not taken.

So disappointing! I expected more since Noble Hops is one of my favorite restaurants and served great pizzas. We ordered a Caesar salad and pizza bianca al prosciutto. The Caesar salad consisted of brown lettuce with a 2 cup lettuce:1 cup cheese:1 cup dressing ratio. I love cheese, but I could almost drink this salad. Horrible. The pizza was alright as long as you don’t like cheese and you like your crust chewy. There was no crunch at all(even the crust) and the cheese barely covered half the pizza. The prosciutto and arugula at least gave the pizza some flavoring and made it somewhat enjoyable. Positives included the wine list, interior, and staff. The wine list, although small, had great options that were well prices. The interior was decorated well but the patio is next to a small playground. We were able to overlook the large number of children running around, but not everyone can. Also the staff was friendly and attentive. All in all, it was a disappointing experience I wouldn’t recommend.

Ordered Cobb salad to go. Got home, missing ingredients and had brown lettuce. Called and advised manager. Ordered another and picked up with return of first. Second one had ingredients; however, still lots of brown lettuce which can cause food poisoning!

I was very excited to try this restaurant based on the previous reviews and truth is, nothing was horrible, but nothing was spectacular. We ordered the Prosciutto Caprese Homemade mozzarella, prosciutto and fresh sliced tomato on a bed of mixed greens with a basil olive oil dressing. Which is a huge salad FYI and the dressing and ingredients were fresh so by far this should be ordered in the future. Then we had Fettuccini Alfred Fettuccini al-dente tossed with our homemade rich and creamy Alfredo Sauce. Topped with fresh parmesan. Sounds delicious huh? Not so much! The noodles were cooked perfectly al-dente but the sauce lacked any wow and was very heavy handed with the olive oil, and the cream was missing in action. meaning the sauce was basically a large amount of olive oil, butter and some parmesan. We also tried the Pizza Capricciosa Tomato sauce, artichokes, mushrooms, olives, homemade mozzarella and prosciutto. The crust was served blonde(no color) and was somewhat chewy, the prosciutto was just flopped on top of the pizza, and although the veggies were fantastic, the pizza was passable. To top off the experience, the stellar service every one who reviewed this place was talking about, wasn’t there. The timing on our food was off by approx 20 minutes. My wine glass set empty for over 20 minutes during my main course and well… In short, for a $ 60.00 lunch, I just wasn’t impressed. Eat and live well my friends till next we meet.

Stopped in here after years of living nearby. Ordered the meatballs parmesan appetizer and the quatro formaggi pizza. You can tell they’re trying to control costs here by holding back on the cheese. The meatballs were alright. Sauce was a little above average; parmesan was barely present. Sort of forgettable, but not bad. The pizza was supposed to have four cheeses on it — smoked and fresh mozzarella, gorgonzola, and parmesan. It was nice and hot when it came out, but the cheese-to-dough ratio was extraordinarily low, and the cheese was nearly tasteless(as if not salted enough). If there was anything smoked on it, or if there was gorgonzola involved, I couldn’t taste it. Basically, the pizza was a bunch of dough with a little dollop of bland cheese on each bit. The dough on this particular selection needs some kind of sauce(and perhaps some garlic) if they’re going to be that miserly with the rest of the toppings. I wonder whether or not fresh mozzarella adds anything to a pizza; in caprese salad or in other fresh, unmelted forms, it can be quite good. On the pizza, it was nearly tasteless. They seemed to have a pretty good wine selection, but a very spare beer selection. A better selection of beer might bring me in more frequently. As it was I ordered a Barrio Blonde, which is an alright local beer, but I would have liked more choice in this regard. This is not a bad restaurant. It’s clean and the interior is pleasant and the staff are friendly enough, but unless it was just an off night or my selections were poor, the food was middling. Mediocre pizza is an ongoing problem in Northwest Tucson. We need less bistros and upscale gourmet«pizza» restaurants and more pizzerias with guys named Tony who know how to make a good foldable New York-style pie. If you are from back east, this will not impress you. I’ll try visiting again and I’ll order one of their pasta dishes next time.

Taste so fresh and its a couple blocks from home… Double yay! Everything I tasted was de-lish. Staff is warm, knew the menu, had awesome recommendations and they’re cute too! Who doesn’t like eye candy– meow! Oh! I had the something… Burrata(a caprese salad ;)) also lassagna and my date had the manicotti. No disappointments whatsoever. I’m pretty sure the fresh mozzarella was made here.
