Safeway

I do most of my shopping at this store. It always looks clean and neat. The checkers are friendly and helpful. I like the self check out when I only have a few items. It is so much faster. Their floral department has lots of choices for plants and flowers. With all the groceries I buy, it’s nice to get discounts on the fuel. Close to home and very convenient.

Great Neighborhood Safeway location! Truly is a notch above the other nearby locations in terms of cleanliness, selection and stock items, as well as very good customer service most of the time. Also if you drink regularly, as I do, it is nice to see a liquor isle not under lock down as is elsewhere.

Went to the store to get some food for dinner I was having a very rough day and was not in a good mood ! Then I went to check out and a young cashier named mindi completely turned my day around when she complimented me on my shirt and spoke to me in a fun modivated tone of voice. I will definitely be coming back to this grocery store and I would recommend it to anyone who lives in the area and to anyone just rolling threw town.

This Safeway is clean and neat, but…
It is incredibly frustrating that they always have such a low number of checkout lines available. The expectation that more and more customers should check themselves out at the self checkout is ridiculous. The (too few) standard checkout lines are four and five customers deep, and should tell them that customers don’t appreciate using the self checkout.
It is a cost-​cutting measure at the expense of the customer experience. I don’t work at Safeway! If the expectation is for me to do part of a Safeway employees job, perhaps cut my bill by 5−10% if I have to check myself out.
Yes, most grocery stores employ them, but this store is egregious. Fred Meyer next door for example, always tends to work more checkers regularly.

Stopped by today before the seahawks game– they were prepared, short lines, all stocked up with velveets and chips– perfect stop as usual.

This review is for their bakery. I called asking about ideas for a birthday cake for my daughter. Because it was kinda last minute I had limited options. When I asked about their cupcakes the lady helping me told that they could make them fresh that day. She also mentioned that she could spruce them up, making them look festive. Not only were they delicious but the presentation looked amazing! I’ll be coming back to them next time I need a desert in a pinch. A++ for excellent customer service.

Great Safeway. Staff manager says hi to you if you catch him walking the aisle. Kind of neat.
The customer service people is nice and helpful. If you go there often, they will remember you.
Very clean store. They just reorganized their store around beginning of the month. But we will get used to the new changes.
Bakery section looks yummy! Deli section is great for take outs. They have Starbucks, Jamba Juice and also videos to rent.
There is also the gas station with low prices if you have a membership card.

Love the small town feel. Most the staff takes the time to say hi. They know there store and make customer service paramount. I will pass 3 other stores to go to this Safeway. Thank you for making me feel important.

This is a nice Safeway. Very clean inside, the location is prime at Four Corners, and parking is always easy to find. If I were ever in the area again, I’d stop back for sure if I needed anything.

Gasoline at Safeway!
I enjoy saving money, Safeway’s gasoline station in Maple Valley offers it at a good price! I use my Safeway card for 3 cents/​gallon off! Great price! There are plenty of pumps, almost never have to wait. Next time you are looking for gasoline, check out Safeway’s pumps at Four Corners.
