Just wanted to share my experience of getting a nano sim card. Total process took 10 minutes with 5 minutes wait. Nano Sim card was FREE(if u are an existing t mobile customer… ie upgrading from an old phone with micro sim card). That was a pleasant surprise especially because I read online, people were paying at least $ 20. I received good customer service and you should expect the same

Yikes. What a mess. So basically we came into t-Mobile in an effort to open a new contract(and send all my money to t-mobile once a month). We had 2AT&T phones which (and all their advertising) assures us is a no problem switch. The guy at the store, who first of all was rude, looked at us like we had two heads. He put his sim card in the phone and showed us «no service», «It won’t work. You can’t do that.» He recommended we try to get our phones unlocked and suggested some shady website to do it at. Soooo, we went home and logged on to and of course you can do it. That’s what all the billboards have been telling us. Switching your phone to t-mobile is not just as easy as switching the sim card, the website warns us, it then proceeds to give a 20 step process to switch the at&t serviced phone into a t-mobile phone using a t-mobile sim card. It’s not a problem at all and one of t-mobile’s big selling points right now. SO– we just ordered it from the internet(and wasted the extra money). This places needs to get itself together. T-mobile is really trying to establish itself, maybe you really do get what you paid for. Not a good introduction for me to T-Mobile…
