Guitar Center

I was on tour and accidentally left a part of my cymbal stand in the store while I purchased some miscellaneous hardware stuff. Realized that I left it there later that day to far away to go back. I called with a long shot of having them ship the piece to a venue a couple days away. To my surprise Andrew, the manager, was totally cool about it and took care of it for me.
Some people talk poorly about corporate owned music shops but that was pretty cool and totally unnecessary. Thanks dudes!

Boy guitar center of maple grove sucks the guys there treat people very crappie… I live in maple grove and cant get a decent guitar… First off one of the pricks said that the epiphone was made in America lol. ok …first clue that i should have stayed away … But needed a guitar… Then the person said well you have to spend more money to get a decent sounding guitar… Hmmmm i played a rouge for years as a teen and that thing took a beatin… i spend a little more and out the door the thing wont work … So i return it … Then once again here we go… well if ya spend more money … The guy said. So i bought it and low and behold … Another pice of junk … Humm more money more problems … Guitar center you suck i want my money back and get new employees that are willing to help out with things the CUSTOMER. NEEDS AND WANT I HELP PAY YOUR WAGE… keep your customer happy and the might just come back pricks…,…

Guitar center is a pretty nice place. Very nice selection they have a great range of guitars here. One problem though on my experience the person who was helping me knew very little about guitars. I told him I was looking for a seagull s6 original not with a dreadnought finish as that was what I was holding. He said «oh it may be here let me go look on my computer and I’ll be right back» well a half hour later at least! I see him messing around talking with his staff then he noticed me looking at him. Then he runs to the computer and checks. Then he comes back and says «it’s here» he grabs the guitar I just played and handed it to me!!! I just gave up I’m not mean but I would have purchased that guitar if he would have just told me he didn’t have one without a dreadnought finish. Maybe he had an off day idk but I just came home and purchased one off eBay. I guess thanks for letting me play it at your store in your very nice sound controlled rooms! One more thing does it bother anyone else that they sell you the guitar that is in the show room where other people play on it?

Cory the manager is extremely knowledgable, helpful, and friendly. It’s a good combination. Had an issue with my claim on an instrument that had been damaged, and he was responsive to all of my needs. Got it fixed, ready to roll.
Other tips. Always buy the warranty.
to make a claim, you need the receipt. They can email it to you. Much easier.

We purchased a piano at this store and we also browse this location frequently. They offer knowledgeable, yet low pressure salespeople and a broad selection of instruments. They delivered our piano in a timely and courteous manner and they took great care in setting up the instrument.
In addition to their vast selection in the store, they can quickly order anything you need (even left-​handed guitars, etc.).
