Pleasantly surprised by this little spot! The salsa was spicy, the enchiladas cheesy and the margaritas STRONG. Lots of options — certainly something for everyone, even those who aren’t fans of Mexican food(I can’t even imagine!) — and plates both large and small. If you have a craving, this place can’t be beat.

Delicious! The food was great, the margaritas were even better! I had the coronita, which was a Margarita with a Corona inserted in it. Authentic Mexican food, delicious flavor, strong margaritas!

The prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes were large. Unfortunately, we all thought the food was pretty mediocre. Edible, not gross or anything at all, just not spectacular. We both had an alcoholic beverage, which were too sugary and way too light on the alcohol. At first, we thought they might have been«virgin» versions of our drinks, but we were told they weren’t. Last, the service wasn’t awesome. When we first walked in up until we got our food they did great, brought us our food, paid attention to our drinks, asked how were were doing, etc. After they plopped those plates in front of us, they all disappeared(there were not many customers in the restaurant at the time) and it took forever to get anything else: refills, to go boxes, our checks. It was alright, but next time we are in Manzanita we are likely to go elsewhere first.

Fun spot for the family. Margaritas are full strong and tasty… we’ve been here several times and we split the steak and chicken fajitas for two last time. It’s a TON of food and delicious. Our kids ate some of our fajitas and were happy. Well come back again of course.

You’ll be surprised by how good this place is, especially for a small town. We eat here quite often and usually order the enchiladas with shredded beef and chicken. The service is always fast and food is tasty! The chips are hot and the salsa is fresh! They remodeled the place last year and the chairs are comfy. We lived in S. Calif and this is some of the better Mexican food we’ve had since moving back to Oregon!

Solid Mexican food. It’s not gourmet or anything, but it was just what I was looking for. The service was fast and polite and our lunch was great(we got camarones a la diabla and 2 chiles rellenos). It’s a good spot, and I look forward to going back.

This place actually had legit enchiladas and margaritas! The server was knowledgeable about which items are vegetarian and which were not which is much appreciated. This is definitely a no-frills place, but the service could be much friendlier to make it a place you’d want to come back to! Even when I talked to our server in Spanish I didn’t get more than a half smile.

Came in. Sat down. Waiter walked by us for 10 minutes before asking our order. I told him we really just wanted chips and salsa(and I was happy to pay for them). He scoffed and walked away with out saying anything. A few minutes later the manager(?) came and said we’d have to leave. I’ve not been treated like that before in a restaurant and it was extremely insulting. My friends and I were not there to mooch free food. We wanted chips and salsa and we’re happy to pay for them. Neither the waiter or the manager bothered to do anything other than escalate to kicking us out. Really, really lame. If I could give negative stars I would. Learn how to treat and serve people if you’re going to run a restaurant. Thanks for the chips dicks.

We’re locals and hit this place often. Mainly it rocks because of service– Adelaido is the best! But we also always know what we’re getting. Nachos that rock, and fabulous guacamole! This is Americanized Mexican food, and it’s good. Tamales, enchiladas, fish tacos, fajitas– all are favorites.

Stopped by for lunch as this was the only place open on Monday. I was concerned because of some of the posts but thought I would have an open mind. Had a challenge ordering a Hornitas margarita. Their margaritas only come with a mix that has Jose quervo. they could not make a margarita with Hornitas. Odd? Settled on Hornitas on the rocks with lime & salt — very good. Chips & salt arrived promptly. Salsa had good flavor. Did ask for something spicier, they gave be haberno salsa. Very nice! Ordered shrimp enchiladas after discussion about whether the shrimp were ‘bay’ shrimp or regular shrimp. Took a gamble and he said all shrimp dishes had ‘big’ shrimp. Good flavor with mushrooms and mildly spiced shrimp. It some with the standard refried beans & mexi rice. Oddly, this is considered an authentic Mexican restaurant but it is actually an Americanized version of Mexican food. Very good. B Service was attentive but my server could learn a little more English. It would make the experience a little easier. décor was not that interesting but full menu and open 7 days a week.

Good Mexican standards. Burritos, enchiladas, sopas, combination plates. Tortillas appeared handmade and every dish had an above average quality.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. The food is just horrible. It’s greasy, overcooked, flavors are all wrong, just disgusting. I went with a group of 11 and not one person liked their dish and we all had stomach aches and that horrid feeling of guilt you get after you realize what terrible things you just put in your body. In fact every single person HATED their dish. I ordered shrimp fajitas, which are usually the fresh/light dish you get at a Mexican restaurant(vs chimichanga or tamale or wet burritos). This was not fresh or light. The shrimp was dry, the dish was so oily it was splashing oil all over me when they brought it out. The veggies were soggy with oil. The flavors were not good — almost sweet, which is weird. They brought out my beans and rice(so overly salty and dry and gross) about 15 mins before the fajitas and then the tortillas about 5 mins after that, so I couldn’t really eat my meal until 20 mins after everyone else got their food. The waiters are kind of rude, but that wouldn’t matter to me if the food was good. I hated this place and wish I had never stepped foot in there. My stomach hurts just thinking about it. I should add that in from Southern California so I know Mexican food and this is the worst I’ve ever had. Even worse than in Europe!

Great cute little place with pretty good food. Great location with just small improvements to make. Indoor and outdoor decorations could be improved with the layout of the tables looking a tad bare. However the food was great and service was fine, with only a little wait to sit down and order food. Definitely seemed like a local place and was consistently busy and we wish them well.

Cute place on the main drag in Manzanita. The service was very good. Had lunch here with the family and grandkids. Food was good, authentic flavors. Grandkids devoured the rice and beans. The enchiladas, tacos and chimis were ordered off the combo menu. Everyone was happy with the meal.

Just finished up here and I had the shrimp enchiladas with my family of 7. Service was quick and servers were polite. My enchiladas were very good! It tasted like they were cooked in a wine sauce, I would recommend them to anyone. The restaurant is more original and traditional which I liked.

We came to the former restaurant in this location and it was pretty decent. Unfortunately, this new version is not great. Not sure where the«fresh» comments came from as the nachos seemed to come right from a can or a bag. The fajitas weren’t bad — the sauce was pretty tasty — so I’d stick to that if you’re coming here, everything else was just meh unfortunately. The service was good.

The food was great. Flavor more authentic than most places. Drink was wonderful(Cadillac Margarita). Staff was nice just not very attentive. Order was perfect for my picky kids but after the food arrived the wait staff didn’t return. I would have had another drink. We needed more napkins… So I can’t give it a 5 star but it was very pleasant otherwise.

While the place does not look very appealing from the outside or inside, the food was solid. We walked in for lunch with our baby and they were very nice. We all ordered different things and all were very happy with how fresh and flavorful everything tastes. Their margaritas were decent too. And in the end we paid less than 50 $ for the four of us. We will be back, possibly even today!

This place is awesome. I live in Nehalem and discovered this place while in downtown Manzanita. Their food is terrific. FRESH! I had a taco platter and my son had nachos and he LOVED them(he never eats meat lol) I will be returning VERY soon!

Good food, friendly staff and attentive service. It’s a new place, we were there on their second night of service. They have cocktails, beer and wine which was welcomed after a day of travel to get to Manzanita. We had the super nachos with beef which was tasty and large. Then tacos al pastor that my wife and daughter really liked. I had a chicken burrito combo which was fresh, filling and good. Asked for some hot sauce and was brought the goods, a very hot salsa. Kids had a shrimp enchilada and chicken tenders/fries which looked good and we heard no complaints. Prices were reasonable. My only suggestion would be to improve the salsa that comes initially with the chips, perhaps more fresh onions, cilantro and tomatoes.
