R & D Sieberg appliance

I went to Sieberg to buy a portable movable air conditioner unit. I paid $ 160.00 on sale (was $ 180.00) I asked if it was new the owner said yes. When I arrived home batteries in remote «not new». No instructions but went on line and found the instructions, no problem. Hooked up the unit it is not cooling. I go back to the place, I’m feeling I’m not getting my money they tested another unit and the air was cold. I told them to wipe it down before putting it into my car «no wipe down». To get to the place it’s a 50 minute drive. As you can hear I’m working with the place. Today, I try to hook up the unit and the hose does not fit, but I can fix that I’ll place some tape around. «I really really pissed now, if I go to Sieberg I’m going to lose it. So I’m going to find away to handle this before going back. BUT BUYER BE AWARE:
I believe this place sells stuff that is returned and then fixed, NOTHING IS NEW. Either refurbished or items that don’t work and then they sell it again, items that the manufacturer sells off cheaper «bulk» because it was not properly constructed/​built.
Another thing, the unit, does not meet the window hose straight out, so there is a dip not a straight flow out. In the instructions it said hose should be tight without dips. The only way this can happen if your window is for little people, windows sill are pretty standard in height, the only way the hose can go straight if the unit is elevated then the direct hose circulation and air flow can go straight out your window.

The guys working there are great, and typically know their stuff. The prices are extremely reasonable, and probably are great for appliances with few moving parts (refrigerator, etc)…but don’t use them for washing machines. I needed two washing machines, and have so far gone through six replacements, repairs, etc., because the originals I bought there had bad timers (all six of them).
Stick with freezers, refrigerators, but probably not washers or dishwashers.

What can I say, they have great prices, are flexible and Eric, the owner is a true gentleman. Got a Great Deal on my gas cook-​top, but they sell all kinds of appliances, new and used!
