Sincerely the best pizza in the the area. We usually get a medium pie with garlic. It usually takes about 20 mins to get to our table. The crust, sauce, and cheese are all A+ quality, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for a pizza. And they have Mexican Coke. Can’t eat pizza without Mexican Coke.

SMH, Well to be fair Sals has really good food, but they need to learn how the protect their To go food, you cannot«I repeat» you cannot wrap your cheese steaks or any hot sub for that matter in aluminum foil alone, by time we got home we had two big soggy mushy cheese steaks that tasted like crap, it ruined our dinner, we will not eat there again until they fix our last order.

Hands down, Sal’s is THEBEST gluten-free pizza I’ve found in South Jersey! They are super careful in preparing the pizza, place it on a separate tin pan in the oven, and provide a brand new pizza cutter for diners to cut the pizza themselves(to avoid cross contamination). I’m from the Trenton area where we fold our pizza in half while the grease runs down your arm. Sal’s pizza is actually«foldable», the crust is not chalky or leaves a weird aftertaste, and the pizza is large enough for two to share(although I really don’t like sharing). You also get a coupon every time you order a pizza and get to cash them in after so many are collected to redeem a free pizza. It’s a great place to eat out with your family — both gluten-free and gluten eaters! We’ve been eating a Sal’s for years now — never had a poor experience!

Sal’s has been a staple for me since the early 80’s in the Mantua KMart Plaza. Even though I don’t go to KMart anymore(who does?) I am still known to stop in for a slice or two on occasion when I am driving by. They have excellent thin crust pizza and their shredded sausage is one of my favorite pizza toppings. Service is average and prices are a little high, but the pizza carries the day.

Their gluten free pizza is SO good. A little on the pricey side but it’s worth it. Also a big fan of their chicken caesar salads. Staff is super friendly and service is quick.

Sals has the best pizza in town! The good news is in the Mantua area we have a bunch of good pizza places with every pizza a little different. When talking with co workers I tease that I could eat pizza every night of the week and get a different style of pizza from Pizza place 5 miles from my house. The only downfall is they don’t deliver.

Great pizza. Review is based only on pizza because it’s the only thing I order. Owners are very friendly.

Price of large pizza is high but easily the best around! Nice people too. Love the pizza, and the chicken cheesesteak hoagies on toasted bun is best I’ve ever had.

Best pizza and sandwiches around. I’ve been coming here for over 20 years and their food is consistently delicious. My kids are now 3rd generation Sal’s fans!

One of our favorite restaurants. Consistently delicious and been coming here since 1983 I believe. I remember our girls being very young and now they’re 39 and 41 and we still are going to Sals. Best damn pizza hands down! Great food, everything is delicious!

This is our spot for pizza. To be honest I’ve neber tried anything else from there, just the pizza. A nice thin crust, excellent and ample sauce and cheese. We don’t go anywhere else for pizza.

Sal’s is the best pizza in Mantua. They don’t deliver because they don’t have to. It’s so good, you’ll go get it!

Nice sized pizza joint we have over here with spacious seating. Place looks clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating, with the owner greeting everyone who comes in. I believe he was the owner, the way he carried himself, asking if everything was OK. Nice displays of specialty pies along with a good sized menu. They also have some of their own creations. They make something with a homemade pizza dough stuffed with a hot dog and cheese. It looked good, something better or equal to a pretzel dog if you ask me, difference is this is a quarter pound hot dog they use. I ordered a couple slices and I must say this is probably one of the better spots I have been to in or around the area. Great flavor where you can taste everything, a good crust where it was eatable. This is located in a shopping center with little life to it, that’s the only down fall. If Sal moved his shop a block or 2 further up, he would definitely dominate. I will not go out of my way, but when I do frequent the area I’d definitely be back in for a slice or 2. Shoot I just might even try one of their sandwiches, or a cheesesteak. I saw one of their sandwiches, which by the way looks like it is is pretty big and filling . Great shop, with a great crew and product. Go in and grab a slice or two !

I recently moved to south Jersey and after trying four other pizza places, Sal’s has been the best pizza in this area and is now my go-to pizza place in South Jersey. Negative is that the pizza doesn’t taste good heated up the next day in my opinion.

I’m definitely a fan of Sal’s anytime I’m in the area. They don’t deliver and that sucks; it’s not like they’re in a busy strip mall or a nice part of town. O well, maybe in the next couple of years they’ll get with the 21st Century. Haven’t really explored their sandwiches, sides, etc but their pizza is awesome. I never had a bad experience with slices off the counter, but if you really want a solid pizza do yourself a favor and order it fresh.

Pizza was thin crust which I like but mushrooms were barely cooked and were too big in size. Spinach was dried out. Eggplant parmigiana was not bad.
