Country Inn and Suites

WOW! customer service was GREAT! The hotel was clean, breakfast was great and lots of choices. The wireless password and user name was written on the key card envelope that they had to you at check in. Liz — the lady who checked us in was really great. We stayed one weekend (1÷12÷13) and the very next we went to take the kids as a «mini get away» (1÷19÷13).

I will never stay here again! Checked in a little before midnight after driving over 1 hour and going straight to our scheduled event 8 miles away from hotel; which ended at 11 PM (event). Of course we were tired and wanting badly to go straight to bed after checking in. Our bed linen had pubic hairs and glitter all over them when we pulled back the sheets, even on the pillows. DISGUSTING!!! We had to wait for new linen before retiring. I checked my credit card statement 2 days after checking out and found a $ 15 dollar charge. When I called to inquire about the reason for the $ 15 charge, I was told I stained a towel with make-​up. ARE YOU FRIGGIN SERIOUS? I was expected to lay in pubic hairs and glitter and yet got charged for dirtying a towel. What else do you do with towels? I should have been able to charge them $ 15 for NOT changing the linen before renting the room to a new guest (me). DISGUSTING. Oh and free breakfast consisted of cold pancakes and french toast only — NOTHING ELSE! Of course we passed on that. This experience was not worth $ 82 + $ 15 for the towel.

This Country Inn is typical of the chain. The room is clean enough. There are no smoking rooms at this hotel.
The desk clerk said that they are in the process of getting wireless throughout the property. Right now it is only available in the lobby. They gave me a DSL cord so I could plug my laptop into the wall. I can’t seem to remember how to do that :) I don’t think I’ve tried since I’ve had XP. Thankfully, my room is directly above the lobby and I was still able to access the wireless.
