Yosemite Country Coffee Shoppe

Nothing’s better on a road trip than a road side taqueria serving fresh tacos. Needing to stop for lunch on the way to Yosemite, we were lured in by the sign: Best Tacos in Town! After we got seated and opened up the menu, we discovered not only did they not serve the best tacos, they didn’t serve any Mexican food at all (well, except for the breakfast burritos). The Taqueria Apatzingan had surreptitiously morphed into the Yosemite Country Coffee Shoppe right before our eyes. No!!! The waitress was super nice and accommodating of our massive (by Manteca standards) party of 10 for lunch. She tried best to assuage our utter disappointment and served us big & heavy portions of breakfast burritos, omelets, and burgers. The food was fair, but they really should take down the Best Tacos in Town sign. ..
