Very disappointed. Way over price for the food you get. Burgers were very greasy. Service was horrible. After taking our order and dropping off food did not say a word. Had to figure out where napkins, catsup were. Asked for ranch and was told it was 50 cents more. So for two of us for it was a little over 32.00 for a restaurant I had to order at a counter.

This place is sooo good. You have to have their cheese steak with mushrooms not to mention their burgers. It’s a good old fashion burger like when you were a kid and fresh. We always have to have an older of garlic fries. Good service and good food.

So I drove from Tracy to have funnel cake. My husband had seen the sign off of highway 99(there was a fair In Tracy but there want any funnel cake). so off we went to Manteca because he recalled the sign. I just have to say in case any one from that shops does read Unilocal, your behind a jack in the box & next to an in and out. There is competition for consumers you have to go Above and beyond to make new and stay loyal customers!!! So Sunday after noon there was only one other couple dinner(never a good sign!) the food was ok it took about 35 five minutes to get the food and the fries were cold seems like they had been waiting for the rest of the order for quite a while they got soggy cold and greasy with the garlic sauce for garlic fries. Not good at all!!! And they are not included with the burger 6 something for an edible garlic fries kind of disappointing! My husband had the cheese steak and it was pretty good. I had a turkey avocado, it was just ok. We paid for the funnel cake with our original order we went up and asked her to go ahead and make it so will be hot. More than 20 minutes went by before the funnel cake arrived. It’s was an over cooked burnt and cold greesy mess!!! If the funnel cake was your claim to fame you think that you could do it and do it right!!! How do you burn the outside have the inside Doughy and then proceed to serve it cold floating in its own grease. There was a ton of chocolate and whipped cream and look like they were trying to hide the burnt. Well we couldn’t be coming back!

We had been wanting to try this spot and finally did with family. The Mushroom Bacon burger and Wild Turkey sandwich were delicious.

Food was alright, it just didnt really match the price but the wait was crazy. Slow at the best of times, don’t go in if you see more then two tables inside. Two stars

This place is just too expensive for the food you get. Our 9 $ burgers were small and tasteless. The service is terrible! When my family was there we had to wait several minutes to get the attention of the staff to order. They were all talking in the back and ignoring customers. It didn’t take us long to figure out why the place was empty.

The only reason I gave this place 4 stars is because it is kinda pricey for my family of 4 to eat at. Other than that my Philly cheese steak was perfect, everyone that worked here was very friendly. Most definitely will be coming back.

Ok… I originally came here for breakfast, but found that it doesn’t open until 11:00. I had to find out why this place had such a high rating on Unilocal! So… I made it a point to return some other time when they were open. When I returned, I asked the friendly server for Her recommendation. And I’m glad I ordered it! It was the«NorCal Cheese Steak Sandwich» And let me tell you… It was absolutely the best Philly style steak sandwich I’ve ever had! The steak was flavorful, tender and cooked perfectly with onions, red and green bell peppers, swiss cheese, ripe avocado and a small amount of spread on a huge soft roll. I give the food 5 stars but the décor could use some work… I think it would be better without the plastic table cloths. I’ll be back for the Great Food! P. S. They also offer egg on any sandwich. I might try that next time. Enjoy!

Our family has seen this new place for sometime, and I finally tried it today with my son. So happy we finally did! The food was delicious! We ordered the club sandwich on Texas toast with fries and nuggets and fries. The sandwich was piled high with a good portion of the meats inside the sandwich. Very impressed! My son loved the French fries and chicken nuggets too. Definitely worth every penny! We will be back soon with the whole family.

We love the food at Rocky’s!!! The hamburgers are delicious, my kids really like the Philly cheesesteak, the garlic fries are the best in town. The price of the food is a little overpriced. When you go in you order your food at the counter. Your food is brought to your table. After that you get your own drinks. For the price you’d think you were going to have a server. I’d go back, just not with the whole family.

We had the Wild West cheese steak sandwiches, they were great. Our sides were garlic fries, tater tots, and Mac n cheese. The sandwiches/burgers get 5 stars! The mac n cheese was meh. All other sides were on point. Would definitely come here again.

Wow. Over priced food by far. Two adults and a six year old $ 32.00 for a famous philly cheese steak, patty melt and kid nuggets!!! Last time there. Good luck to you and them!

I’ve been hearing some good things about Rocky’s diner. I originally thought it was more of a «diner«type joint, but it’s more of a burgers, beer and killer sandwiches place. My husband is a burger conissoure and he says it’s the best sit-down burger place in town. It’s somewhat of a hidden jem because of the location. Quality cooked and tasteful!

Let’s just say for a second that you have a pain. A hunger pain. And this hunger pain is crying out, «give me a burger and fries!!!» Then look no further. This place is guaranteed to make all of your hamburger craving pains go away! Yes, the location is a little goofy… but it’s not like the owners built the complex! So lay off all of you architecturally location sensitive people! The service is generally really great, and the owners are always wonderful. Every time they messed up an order they would immediately fix it! But wait! There’s more!!! Garlic curly fries with cheese… yeah…they are delicious and amazing. For an added bonus ask them to make your fries crispy! Ooooooooh the food possibilities. And awesome-ness. The restaurant itself is nothing super spectacular but they do have several tv’s. Either way, give this place a shot! It’s good AND good for you… maybe not. But it is damn good stuff and I would choose this place over any shitty chain fast food place!!!

Worst customer service but the food is great. Stumbled upon this place on accident. We couldn’t decide where to eat at first and on our way to Chipotle, we spotted this place next to Target. You will not see it from the main road unless you are already inside the plaza. I was a little hesitant to go in because there were no other customers, my boyfriend pointed out it was a good thing because we would receive better customer service by being the only ones. Uhhh, NO. Walked in and NOONEGREETEDUS. The workers kept staring and we just stared back. How does this place work? Do we seat ourselves? Ohhh, we order first at the counter! Well had SOMEONE informed us, we would’ve walked over to the counter right away. THEGIRLSTARINGATUSDIDNTSAY A WORDUNTILWEREACHEDTHECOUNTER. And what did she say? A «hi»? Not sure, because it was such a weak greeting and I just said Hi and ordered right away. So sad because it was clearly our first time and needed more info about the menu, to which no help was offered. Prices were typical diner-ish, with burgers and cheesesteaks starting from $ 8. I ordered a cheeseburger and my boyfriend tried the cheesesteak. Now it becomes clear that this isn’t really a «diner». It’s a fast-food type atmosphere with overpriced«diner» food such as burgers, fries, and sandwiches. They are lucky that my boyfriend and I are low-maintenance foodies. They bring out your food but no one comes to check on you to see how you’re doing. You seat yourself and the utensils, drinks, and napkins are placed at the side for the taking. You even bus your own table by throwing away plates into the designated trash section. We have no problem doing this. Now for the FOOD, it was delicious! My cheeseburger was the size and taste of In N Out/The Habits. It was really good but for the size, it was not worth $ 8.50. But the cheesesteak was amazing! So glad my boyfriend got one. They did not skimp out on the steak and it was delicious with avocado. Probably the best I’ve ever had. What also really shines here are the GARLICFRIES. I’d come back for the fries alone. These are made with cheese(sure it’s cheating since not included in the title but I’m not complaining) and roasted whole cloves! The food was great which almost redeemed their lack of service. While heading out, they still were staring wordlessly until I smiled at the staff. Did they even work there? Even fast-food employees smile and greet. We were only told a «thank you, have a nice day» when I had made eye contact, and by a completely different employee who just came in. Not by the originals who helped us. What a shame, I wanted to like this place.

So close to getting 5 stars. Over all, our food was very tasty and the price was reasonable. We tried the Coconut Shrimp, Side Salad, Philly Cheese Steak, NorCal Philly, Onion Rings and a drink for $ 31. The Coconut Shrimp was the best I’ve ever had. Same goes for the beer battered Onion Rings. Both of the sandwiches were very good but we couldn’t eat it all and now have a Scooby Snack for tomorrow. The flop was a mistake that shouldn’t happen, but can get missed. The salad was decked out well, but mixed throughout with parts of old black wilted lettuce. I chalk this up as a rare mistake that I’ll bet doesn’t happen next time(because I’ll be watching and will make it an issue). As I said, overall this is a winner and we’ll be back to try out more of their menu.

See an add this was opening today. Thought I would give it a try. As I was going threw menu I noticed the prices are pretty high for a burger. Example 8.99 for a burger it does come with fried but they are noting special just standard frozen fries. The burger is okay. Is an overpriced version of habit burger in Stockton but not as good. Which I can’t get for 3bucks less with a drink. Also 1.50 to add bacon it’s a bit excessive. For an order of onion rings it’s 5 bucks that you can get for 4 or less anywhere else. My wife ordered the ham and cheese which again was 8.99. Not worth it. If there prices dropped about 20% across the board I think this place could survive. But these are bay area prices and will have people not return. As I sat there I saw many people walk it take a look at menu and see prices an walk right back out. For one burger, one ham and cheese, one grilled cheese, and onion rings and 4 drinks was $ 40 bucks
