If you have a lot of time to wait in line, go to this Old Navy. You won’t be disappointed. I wait an extraordinary amount of time every.single.time I go to this store. I am actually waiting in line right now. Three and out and they have only two cashiers working, one if whom has been with the same customer for more than five minutes. I gave two stars(versus one) because the employees are usually polite… but good gravy — FIXYOURCHECKOUTWAITTIMEISSUE!

Old Navy used to be a favorite store if mine. I feel the quality of their clothing has drastically declined and the customer service at this store is horrible. My last visit there: only 1 register open with a long line of customers while employees are walking around doing what looked like absolutely nothing and looking completely bored with their jobs. The girl at the register was asking for help, but no one seemed to be too worried about it. Management should be ashamed of themselves. I will not return to this store.

I’m very big on customer service which i don’t take lightly. The reason I felt so compelled to write this is because I could not believe the lack of respect for me as a customer! After the customer in front of me was serviced I walked up to the first available cash register. Two employees thought it was a great idea to carry on five minute conversation while I stood there. After they finished the employee, who’s register I was at, walked away with no acknowledgement. I was so dumbfounded and completely turned off by the lack of professionalism that I left my items on the counter and walked out of the store. I WILLNEVERRETURN!!! I am still very upset an hour later. Not sure how a company can stay a success when they chose if and when they will operate with common decency

I received a VERY, VERY, BAD experience last time I visited Old Navy in Manteca. I did not receive a call back, letter, or nothing. Sure, It’s your big company and don’t give a crap about one customer, right?! RIGHT. **IFYOUWANTBADSERVICESHOPATTHISSTORE** SHOPHEREINTHEMORNING when the employee ignore you, and state in front customers that they wish they were home. or that Target was open instead. Shop here if you simply want to create a wish list and waste your time. Hmmm bad service and badly stock sounds great. Your the glass of every diamond store.

If you like to WAIT this is the place for you! I needed to just return a couple items I purchased online, and boy did it not pay to return it to the store, at least not this store. A manager was just standing in a register station and ignored the line that was over 5 people long. Only two cashiers were open, and there were four employees in the cashier area. WTF? Get a clue on how to manage customer service or get out of the business.

I didn’t find anything I liked here. Most of the store seems to be reject/clearance items, so there wasn’t much to see. I was very disappointed.

Decent place to get clothes if you’re not a big guy like me, and when I say I’m big I just mean a Double X. Not anything bigger, but if you wear more than a 42 or 44 pant size you should just skip this place and go to JCPenneys or somewhere else that carries our size. The shirts fit is typically smaller than usual. So just be prepared. I’ve lost a lot of weight since last time I shopped here, but it’s still an issue to me. I actually dropped 40 lbs and when you’re a big guy you still wanna be fashionable and more stores should consider this. Aside from that, the customer service was fine, not mind blowing, but fine. The prices are always good here, so no one should complain about that.

I was at this Old Navy location last Thursday. It was my first experience with this location and it will be my last. Upon walking in the front door I was struck by the fact that the store looked messy and unkept. My experience in the fitting room was even worse.. .. .WHAT A MESS! I traveled a ways to shop at this store specifically, always wishing we had an Old Navy in our home town. Now that I’ve been there I’m not disappointed we don’t have an Old Navy location near home because I wouldn’t shop there anyway,

What has happened to Old Navy?!? I remember when this was the spot of cheap, trendy clothes and now it reminds me of a store going out of business. I still scored a cute dress, but when I got home I was unhappy with the fit and then realized that I just paid $ 45 for a summer dress from Old Navy. Not exactly a good price. This location is clean and the service is friendly, but you won’t be wowed by the inventory.

Reading other reviews I felt like writing one of my own. The reviews listed here are from 3 years ago… time for an update! This store has changed dramatically in the last year or so. No more racks on the floor with tapped on signs, or down right rude associates. I always find what I need. I’ve noticed a change in staff and I like it! Some would say I am biased because I used to work for this company, but I don’t think that. Obviously! I don’t work there anymore! This old navy can get really busy on sale days or weekends, but its worth it. Night time is the slowest time to go. I like this old navy, Please don’t read these reviews and be turned off. Old navy is such a convienient store, and I will continue coming here! :)

Ugh more and more I kick myself for even venturing into this particular store. I remember years ago when Old Navy’s were new *cue music and fade into the late 90’s* … The staff was super friendly, the music in there got you pumped to shop, and the goods were aplenty. *sigh* Unfortunately things have changed! I went in this afternoon to exchange some goods my Mom bought for my daughters.(Why does that woman think they grow at least 2 sizes every year???) Anyhow, of course my dear darlings lost the receipt when they were searching through the bag. A few things were too big and I went to exchange. Not return, not ask for any cash back, just plain and simple EXCHANGE for proper sizes. I was met with the young girl working her summer job at the front… to her I say: Dear Young Stuff, Your working a crappy summer job while most of your friends are probably out working on their tans. Paste a g*d damn smile on your face and give me some customer service. Don’t give me smart ass attitude about your policy being the same for the last year. I DON’T RETURNOFTEN, I DON’T KNOWITLIKETHEBACKOFMYHAND. Don’t patronize me with that stupid half smirk, as if to say ‘Ha old lady I won!’. Most importantly don’t offer me some ridiculous check that will come from corporate in 4 – 6 weeks. Instead stuff that stupid drive-thru head set where the sun don’t shine, and I’ll be on my way NEVER to set foot in your store again. Thanks! Obviously I’m irritated that I have to give the stuff back to good old g’ma to take her credit card in and have them search for her purchase. I’m over this store, the staff is rude and more concerned with each other. The store has crap selection and the lines are lonnnng due to said sales people chatting with each other. GRRR! NOSTARSOLDNAVY, YOUSUCK!

A true disappointment. The sale racks, usually teeming with piles of cheaply-made clothes in the Tracy or Stockton locations, were sadly sparse here. As usual, the layout is haphazardly organized, the dressing rooms inconveniently located. 2 stars for the novelty, but that’s it. *Edit: The sales racks have improved; however, customer service is nonexistant, unless they think you’re planning to steal something.

Manteca has waited so long for an old navy and when we finally get one, it’s pretty disappointing. Today was the 5th time I’ve gone to the store, but only the 1st time I found something to buy. It was friggin 100+ outside and the majority of the men’s clothes are pants and long sleeve shirts — wth? They’ve been established for a while now so I’ve pretty much given up on any expanded selections in the near future. Maybe in the winter I’ll be able to finally get some shirts and shorts!
