MLI Shutters & Blinds

We requested a consultation and they were prompt to respond and send someone out. Nancy was very nice and explained the products available and gave us an option we didn’t know was available, which was great solving a problem with windows that slide to the side. We decided to order vinyl shutters for 5 windows. Shutters came in and an appt was made for installation. Jacob came on time to install and he was fast, nice guy and left no mess. After he left, we later noticed that two windows in the front of the house, that are side by side and measure the same, looked different. Upon inspection, one window had 9 louvers and the other window had 10. How could that be? Called MLI to discuss this and were told the shutters are made per the measurements taken. We measured ourselves and felt this was not correct. Contacted MLI again and then received an e-​mail stating it was the builder’s issue, not theirs, and the windows were different sizes. My husband replaced these windows some time ago and knew they were the same size! I again contacted MLI to state this fact. They «finally» agreed to send their installer out to re measure. Jacob came out again and re measured and found the windows were the same size. We did not hear from MLI so phoned them to find out a new shutter had been ordered and would be installed. The new shutter was installed and now matches the other window. We just feel, had we not pursued this issue, nothing would have been done. All that being said, we are pleased with the product, installation and felt the price was competitive.

MLI Shutters & Blinds should be made a case study on how to professionally and courteously treat customers. They were referred to us by friends in Mountain House and I’m so glad we reached out. We were interested in dressing 26 windows in our new home with Hunter Douglas Palmetto shutters but were expecting the price quote to be prohibitive and had resigned to maybe having to order them piecemeal. Gary at MLI came to measure our windows on a Friday, showed us what they have available, answered our questions and gave us an estimate right away. The estimate was way below what we thought they might cost so we ordered all of them them right away. We mentioned to Gary how we were going to move in the following week and needed to order temporary shades. He told us not to waste our money because MLI would probably have the shutters installed by the following Saturday but they would call to confirm. We got a confirmation call on Thursday and by Saturday they were all installed. If you’re wondering whether this review is positive because all went well, this one’s for you: two of the shutters ended up being defective (were probably ordered incorrectly for windows that have a sill) but the installer said he’d let the office know so they sent us two replacements. A few days later I called the office to see if I needed to provide any additional info on the two windows and Marla told us the new shutters had already arrived and the installer would replace them the next day.
Bottom line: way to impress your customers, MLI, may the way you conduct business bring you many more customers and hopefully inspire other companies to be like you.

We could not be happier with the products and service that MLl Shutters and Blinds provides. From ordering to installation, took about 2 weeks. The installer was extremely nice, efficient, showed up on time and was very neat.
They are very knowledgeable about their products, helpful in every way. A great value for the $ spent.

I had a lot of blinds that needed repair. I have been seeking a way to fix them for two years and finally stumbled upon this company. I went there to talk to them and they assured me they could get it done. They repaired 8 shutters in one day and for a great price. Plus I broke one when we were loading them and he took it in the back and repaired it. I’m so appreciative. The best customer service… I would happily refer others to this business.

I could not be happier!!! Gary was out on a Tuesday, and installing on the same Friday. Not even 72 hours went by before they were back here installing: O There were a few minor problems, but nothing that couldn’t be fixed while they were here. I was never rushed and Gary made sure everything was perfect before he left. They really took all the stress off of me while moving into our new home. The products I ordered are beautiful, wonderful quality, and actually exceeded my expectations. Daniel the installer was also very helpful and made sure I was SUPER happy too :)

What more can you say, than this Company is all about Perfection, Professionalism, & and a Gorgeous Wonderful Product. I also got several quotes from different Shutter Companies, and MLI was hands down the most reasonable Company out there price wise. But what was also the tipping point in my decision was that MLI’s product was actually better than the other Shutter Companies!
The Owner, and his Assistant came out and measured my home, and within a week and a half the Shutters were ready to be installed… They are Excellent, and just add to the beauty of your home.
Would I recommend MLI??? You betcha, you will not be disappointed in the design, and the beauty of the end product in your home…

I was looking for composite Shutters with arched tops for my home. I got several quotes and decided to go with MLI Shutters. The gentleman that came out, Mike, was very knowledgeable and informative. He answered all my questions and his quote was very competitive. We went with the Woodlore shutters from Norman. They arrived in 5 weeks just as Mike had estimated and were installed the same week they arrived.
The installer was very neat and meticulous and explained all the adjustments he was making to the shutters while he installed them.
I would definitely recommend MLI Shutters to everyone.

, which was more reasonable than some of the other brands available. Have been extremely happy with the appearance and quality of the blinds and the excellent installation and measuring services.
