I absolutely love this place. And my 5 year old daughter just adores the owners. They are the greatest and most friendliest people you will ever meet… We try and go there at least once a week for lunch at my daughters request. And we just love there soft serve ice cream cones. My mouth is watering just thinking about it as I write this review lol

Excellent! Friendly and fast service! Ordered our food and before we sat down it was ready! The orange freezes came soon after. Everything was great about this place. This will definatly be our go to. Cajun dog was tasty and the right kind of spiciness. Cheese dog was yummy too! And the orange freeze was perfect! My family and I will be back for sure!

This is just flat out great food and the Root Beet out of this world. It’s hard to think a hot dog could be great but my expectations were hot dog and I got a fresh bun, great dog, all kinds of choices and nice happy people serving me.
Again. The Root Beer is incredible.

Good food, sweet comfortable atmosphere, incredible customer service. Seriously. The kind of customer service that we got here is the kind that I’ve only really experienced at places that don’t have many customers, but this place was decently busy and still very attentive and on top of things.

Hate to write a bad review because the owner is SO nice! He himself deserves a 5 star rating but his food, particularly the nachos are a downer every time. I’m a vegetarian so if I end up going there with friends or family I usually order the nachos (twice so far and the last time) & they are always EXTREMELY stale… yuck! However, while the nachos just plain suck, my family and friends love the hot dogs, frito boats and so on.

The owner and this place is good however someone needs to teach him how to make chili. Because pinto beans and hamburger meat does not make chili. All the so called chili did is make the hotdog bun soggy and impossible to eat. I’m not trying to take anything away from Hob Nobs but it was a bad lunch. I’ve at here before and the food has always been great! Just fix the chili; please!

We got there about 10 minutes before closing and he was very friendly about it. Since we were driving through on our road trip from Sacramento to home and we were looking for something quick to eat it was very nice of him to stay on a few extra minutes for us to eat. Cute place, we almost missed it. The food was good and the homemade root beer was delicious, creamy and not too sweet.

Best hot dogs around and bonus, owner makes his own root beer which is the best I ever drank. For sure a recommended if your in the mood for a tasty hot dog and a frozen mug of home made root beer! Plus you can sit inside a small air conditioning room. Friendly owner who is willing to make your the way you want it.

Went here for an early dinner. My first time since the move to Manteca 3mos ago. I strongly support Mom & Pop /​small business especially one that serves a flavor of my East Bay upbringing: Caspers Franks/​Hot Dogs! Ordered 2 Cheese dogs that were prepared almost the same as the Casper stands in Hayward. Only difference I saw was the diced vs sliced onions. It was good eats and washed down with their homemade A&W styled rootbeer that was served in a tall frosted mug. I got to chat owner operator for a bit. Rick is a good guy, whose family has a long history in small roadside jewels like this. Good food at a kewl place at fair prices. My Kinda Place! Support Small Business /​Mom n Pop Joints!
