This place was GREAT! My wife and I took our three kids(12, 10, and 7) and we all had a wonderful time. The safety system is excellent — anytime you are off of the ground you are locked in. All courses are age/experience appropriate and the staff was EXCEPTIONAL. My 7 year old had a few spots where he needed assistance and the staff was there quickly and helping him through. Price was a little high, but I don’t feel like it was excessive — we had a great, fun, safe family outing!

This place was so much fun! Brought my 10 and 7 year-old and spent over 2 hours climbing and zip lining the courses. Jimmy agreed to stay and guide us through. He was amazing and professional. Highly recommend coming and spending the afternoon here. We will be back! Thanks, Jimmy!

If I could afford it and it was closer to my home(Avon), I’d go at least twice a week. It’s a great workout. I used muscles I don’t usually use, especially in the arms(and I do yoga and run a lot). I am generally fearful of heights, but that wasn’t a problem here, even 40 feet in the air. I think the latching system is so secure and trustworthy, I ceased thinking about any risk. My 9 year old and 12 year old boys LOVED this place. I was totally relaxed with them both, once we’d had our EXCELLENT orientation about how to use the latching system and how to move from one platform to another. There are some really nice zip lines in this course, and they’re LONG. A ticket purchases you plenty of time to get through about 3 – 4 courses. You must start at the easiest level your first time, and this is an excellent requirement. I witnessed a teenage girl get a little freaked out when she had trouble on one section of a course and the staff were WONDERFUL with her. They didn’t make her feel stupid or embarrassed, and they calmly talked her down from her«ledge» and gave her tips and pointers that allowed her to get through the challenge. The staff are extremely well trained and very attentive. They are watching everyone and constantly reinforcing rules(e.g., no more than three people standing on a platform at any one time). It’s a little pricier than someplace like Soarin’ Indoors in Manchester, but there is just no comparison between the two. We can’t wait to get back out to this place this summer.

This is one of my favorite aerial adventure parks! I say I love ziplining, but just a ziplining course bores me so that isn’t entirely accurate. I love to be challenged mentally and physically and the courses at this park do it! The first time I tried them out it was because I purchased a deal(either Living Social or Groupon) but it’s worth the money even if you have to pay full price. If they offer more deals this summer, I’ll definitely purchase them again, but either way I’ll be back! The staff is great at talking you through any obstacles you’re worried about and they also rescue people(often smaller kids) quickly and safely to try to get those behind them waiting moving through the courses again. Give them a try and wear your gloves! :)

Create a must-do list and throw this on there. What a great time! Great for kids, great for adults, go as a family, go with a group of friends, you still not be disappointed.

This adventure park was incredible! I had never done anything like this before and I brought my 7 yr old son. I wish I knew of this place a long time ago! The staff was so helpful and informative, they made sure that safety was always attended to. Well worth the money, wish they did all day or half day passes though so you could stop and have lunch and just enjoy nature so much more. So many obstacles, all different levels, challenging yet very rewarding and great interaction with your family or friends that you may go with. We will Definitely be back again, many many more times to come!!!

Really fun. It’s a also a great workout and the staff are terrific. I deducted one star because I just don’t understand why it needs to be so expensive, and the price is a major deterrent from what would otherwise be enthusiastic frequent returns.

Pretty awesome experience! Scary at first because they teach you how to self serve yourself around the park and you go off on your own without a guide. I will admit I have some battle wounds because I slipped, but this place is cool.

Wife and I took two grandchildren, 7 and 9. The 7 is small but after the beginner trail she wanted to so the green. Probably should not have been allowed due to her height but with some crying and very little help she did it along with her 9 yr old cousin. Staff was great except for one young woman that complained about having to rescue(help) so many kids. Also let everyone know that she was going to make the child that was crying stop and not continue no matter what the child said. The rest of the staff was great and helped and encouraged the kids. My wife and one of her daughters, the mother of the 7year old, went five days later.

A bird sitting on the tree has no fear of falling … not because the branch is solid but because it has faith in its wings. So, I’m not exactly a bird with wings to help me fly away, but this quote kept running through my head during my time at the Adventure Park. Basically, by just staying confident in my abilities, I was able to move forward and put my fear of heights on the back burner. With the awesome guidance from the staff, the safety harness and a rush of adrenaline, I felt amazing after a day here. I truly felt like I accomplished something new and exciting! The Adventure Park is conveniently nestled off 195 of off Exit 68 on I-84. It’s on the way to UConn so you could hit two birds with one stone — visit the Adventure Park and then head to the beautiful campus. Prior to starting your adventure, you will have to sign a waiver(which we printed out and did at home), pay and get fitted into your safety harness. Then a member of the staff will lead you through a safety orientation and ensure that you know what you are doing. The Park is a series of platforms in the trees connected by different cable, wood, rope and zip lines. Each«bridge» is a little different or presents a unique challenge. What I really liked was that there were 5 different trails, which ranged from easy(10 feet up) to challenging(60 feet up). We did 2 different trails and probably could have fit in another one, but for our first time, we were spent. The Adventure Park was so much fun and I highly recommend visiting it before it’s too cold to enjoy it. They operate by «pool and golf» rules, so they are open during light rain, but close if there are storms. Check it out, you won’t regret it!
