Play ‘N’ The Dirt Landscape

Used Play in the Dirt to add stone patio and to level and sod our back yard. Patio looked beautiful but when it rains it does not drain well which was one of our main concerns for the project. They used polymeric sand for joints larger than recommended and they haven’t held up. They ran out of weed block and used empty plastic mulch bags under the mulch and over the sprinkler tubes so it stays wet — nasty. Yard also doesn’t drain any better than before the regrading by Play in the Dirt.

Play in the Dirt came highly recommended. We were to get an estimate at 9 a.m. today. They never came and never called as to why they could not come or why they would not come. Very disappointing.

We had a couple of previous landscapers that burned us. One continued coming in spite of our telling them we didn’t want them anymore (because they never did what we asked) and billed us for the visits. Another disappeared after tearing out our dead plants but before putting in replacements.
We contacted this company and have been so pleased! They put together a great presentation for our front yard and the quoted price was reasonable. I was impressed that they came out to mark underground lines to avoid the day before they started working, and they worked so quickly! Everything was done in a day and a half and they cleaned up really well both days.
We are also using them for our weekly mowing and have already asked them to quote a few other projects. They are professional, dependable, and affordable. Highly recommended!
