The running trail needs distance markers and the patrons need to keep their rugrats under a more watchful eye, but the shade in the summer is nice and Mansfield’s Parks Department seems to do a decent job of keep the park manicured.

Wow, one of the best parks we’ve been to. Large play area is that padded spring foam material(helicopter parents can relax a little). Several BBQ grills and picnic tables both under pavilions and out in the open, lots of trails to walk or ride bikes. Basketball and volleyball areas and TONS of green space, enough that you could have multiple groups playing soccer, football, and baseball without interfering with each other. I previously said that Town Park gets busy but it doesn’t compare to this.

This is a great park for families and pet owners alike. There are several picnic and grilling areas, a large pond, sport courts, large and well maintained playgrounds, and a wooded walking/jogging path which is full of beautiful wildflowers in the early summer.

Very nice park! Has trails for walking or jogging, a playground for the kids, three pavilions for BBQ or eating, volley ball nets and basketball courts. Also a nice pond!
