The actual juice was not bad «Fresh squeezed fruits & vegetables juiced to order» on their advertisement. Been there since the summer for the fresh juice for at least 8 times. I only got my order ONCE. Why advertise on something that you guys can’t provide most of the time? Gotta be kidding me.

Jamba Juice is delicious, but they are basically never open. They are open until 7 most days, but rarely actually open past 5pm. They seem to always have problems with the register and don’t seem to prioritize customer service. That said, if you can ever catch them actually open and serving customers, the smoothie and juices are great.

Super disappointed!!! Went today at 5:50p and the door was locked. A girl was inside cleaning and would not open the door. Btw they close at 7pm.

Jamba Juice smoothies are always a good idea. So many options. I roll dairy-free with favorites Mega Mango and Peach Perfection. Yes I want a large and yes I’ll lean back with my mouth open and you can just pour it in non-stop! Service is friendly, quick and efficient. This location is at the new Storrs Center development across from UCONN. Its co-branded with a Brueggers Bagels which I think is probably the most genius co-branding venture ever! I love Brueggers and to have them in the same spot is amazing!

This would have been a great experience, if you disregard the first two times I mistakenly went to their storefront only to find them closed… Third time’s the charm? Their website and Unilocal page say 7AM — 11PM, but please note that their hours are actually 8AM — 7PM. And from the start of UConn’s winter break until 2/1, they close at 5PM — even though the hours posted in their window still advertise the normal closing time. I can understand not thinking to update your online hours(which is still pretty irresponsible in this digital age), but closing two hours earlier for almost two months, and not posting a paper sign in your window? Irresponsible and obnoxious. I do appreciate their wide selection of smoothies and energy bowls(similar to a yogurt parfait). If you prefer your smoothies without dairy like me, I’d recommend you look at their whole food, all fruit, or fruit and veggie smoothies. On my last visit, I tried a medium Berry UpBEET smoothie(Strawberries, Blueberries, Mixed Berry Juice Blend, Mangoes, Ice, and Red Vegetable Juice Blend of Carrots, Beets, Broccoli, Spinach, Kale, Lettuce), which was delicious and had the highest daily value of iron of any of their fruit and veggie smoothies. They have a binder out with all the nutritional info displayed on laminated pages, so you can check which of their smoothies fit your dietary needs. I really appreciated this because I always have to ask for it. Sign up for their rewards! You get a free boost on your first visit, and additional rewards later on. I had a Groupon, which gave me around a 40% off discount. At a full-price range of $ 4.29(classic small) to $ 6.39(large smoothie with fancy boosters), these aren’t incredibly affordable but are pretty reasonable for what you’re getting. They don’t currently offer this, but I would love to see more organic and locally-sourced options and wouldn’t mind paying a little more for that. ***EDIT: I went to this location yesterday at 6:50PM and found the place dark and closed. I called today to finally get to the bottom of Jamba’s apparently floating closing hours and got to speak with David the owner. He explained that since they only just opened, they’re trying to figure out ideal hours, and so far they’ve never had a customer between 5 — 7PM. He said he does encourage the managers to post something in the window, but apparently that hasn’t been happening, and he would tell them again. He said mainly the early closings have been because of the poor weather, and in the spring and summer months, they should be open regularly without early closings. He also mentioned he’s been trying for six weeks to contact corporate to get the hours on the website changed, but they haven’t gotten around to it. He was surprised to hear that his changes still hadn’t been made and said he would call again. And the Unilocal page was created by someone not affiliated with Jamba at all, so he sees it as independent of what they do. I did appreciate how sympathetic he was. When I told him I had come by four times during supposed hours they were open only to find they were always closed, he apologized and told me the next time I stop by, I can speak to Randy the manager and get some coupons for future visits. Also note that Bruegger’s Bagels, which shares the space with them, has their hours posted but Jamba technically doesn’t – and Bruegger’s hours are slightly different. I do think it’s inexcusable that hours haven’t ever been posted in their window, especially if they choose to change them up. I would recommend to call to make sure they’re open before you go.

This is the second jamba juice place I tried in CT, the first being in milford ct. Its fresh juices and healthy smoothies along with some oat meals. All the juices I have tried have tasted real good and healthy. We definitely need more of these in CT, three in the whole state doesn’t cut it.
