Chipotle Mexican Grill

I actually love chipotle but not this one! I’m very disappointed in the service I received while at this chipotle. I always get a bowl and it’s always filled all the way up to the top and always fills me up. This time when I asked for rice, I got the tiniest scoop. It was like a kids plate size or smaller. I asked the server to please give me more rice. He literally put like a tablespoon more of rice. I then asked him why he would not give me more rice then that. I explained to him that I have never received a bowl that had so little rice in it you could still see a lot of the bottom of the bowl. He said that people over serve and they are not supposed to give that much but that I can pay for extra rice. I was livid, as it would not have been extra rice, it would have been an adequate amount for a bowl that I’m paying 7 $ for. My bowl ended up being very small after adding everything to it and it did not fill me up. I will now not be going back to this chippy because I prefer to get what I pay for and I don’t I feel I did in this case. I would not recommend coming to this chipotle. The one on Cooper in Arlington is so much better!

I love chipotle in general but this location is poorly ran. Food was on par but chicken being cooked was unattended to, place was dirty looking, line was short but moving slow, ice machine was out of ice, girl that rolled our burritos did a poor job, music was coming in was rap where all you could hear was the base then classical then Indian. Was like an identity crisis with what music they were playing. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day? I’ll come back eventually and if better experience will raise my rating but food was good but overall experience not so great.

If you plan on ordering chicken, you will probably have to wait for it to be cooked… or more likely overcooked. I’ve waited 15 – 20 minutes before and tonight a lady said she had been waiting for 30 minutes.
They also keep the dining area way too cold, and since they’re trying to keep up with orders, it doesn’t get cleaned as often as it should.

Use this chipotle regularly for convenience. The service here and cleanliness have seriously deteriorated. The staff is not as friendly as it used to be. Management must have changed and the new Manager does not care. At night, the employees don’t care to clean up and aren’t that friendly at all. Management should look at these reviews and pay attention. The lines are long at most chipotle’s, so I’m okay with that. But. The cleanliness, especially behind the counter and where the drinks are, needs some serious attention.

Food was okay during my visit… although my chips were stale. However as with all of the other reviews I agree that the customer service is horrible at this location. The employees are in need of some serious re-​training. You would think they would treat us customers brave enough to return with exceptional service and gratefulness. IJS!

Probably THE worst Chipotle ever. It’s dirty, and they do not practice healthy food handling, there were receipts in the meat while they were making me a bowl and trying to fill s big order at once, they were wrapping burritos on the dirty counters, and sliding bowls through clumps of sour cream, their steak was bright pink hardly cooked and the chicken has been pink & chewy the last few times I’ve come here. I won’t be returning, I’ve given them too many chances. The person grill the meat was not wearing gloves and she sneezed over my food.

This is the second time in two weeks that I have used their app to place my order ahead of time and every time I get there to pick up my order they never have it ready despite the fact that they’ve had 30 – 60 minutes to have it prepared

Well here finally goes my review, I’ve gone to this chipotle for almost three years now, and it’s only stay at the same bad pace. Portions are small, and you can never eat chicken without spitting some chewy parts out, and your rice being rock hard, full pieces of guacamole as well. I always try to give this place chances because you have to give them credit for always being busy, and never stopping, but today was my official last visit. I finally had enough with being out of ice, bad seasoning, just bad overall. Also I always get things on the side and they forgot them. Honestly if you have the time go to other chipotles especially the one further into Arlington. The only reason I ever go here anymore because I don’t have the time for the drive. There’s even a line for the online people when they should just go in and out. I hope this chipotle improves but I’ve gone here since my sophomore year in high school, now I’m a freshmen in college and nothing’s changed.
Save your money and time and go to other chipotles.

Hard Rice; very under cooked! Plus, did not get one of the orders right. It was my family’s first time and last time.

I’m a big Chipotle fan but this location is unacceptable. It always smells like mildew near the register. The service is horrible. The employees are always eating in the restaurant. I asked for a manager one time and they told me, «she’s eating, hold on.» The manager walked over from a table in the dining area eating! They didn’t have a manager on staff!
They ask what you want but don’t listen and put whatever they please on your food. I went in one time and the grill was broken at open, so I was wondering where the meat came from… The night before, perhaps? My last visit was yesterday and it will be my last. I couldn’t even bring myself to eat the undercooked chicken that had been TOUCHED WITH A DIRTY RAG and the smell in the restaurant was grossing me out. I asked for a refund.
I recommend going up the road to either of the stores in Arlington on Cooper St. So much better.

I waited in line for 20 min to be «greeted» by a bunch of idiots. Blonde rice scooper with curly pretty hair has the dumb So-​Cal vibe working for him because he’s kind of cute. He’s the only one I’ll let slide. He even gave me white rice instead of brown… How. Hard. Could. It. Be!!!
Large Hispanic guy was straight stupid. He scoops the vegetation toppings and puts them on top of meat and touches the veggie/​tofu spoon to meat in other people’s bowls!!! Jesus did his food prep classes teach him anything?!
Hispanic girl working the register was equally dumb and asked me if I wanted a drink 3 times before she finally snapped out of lala land. Just swipe my card, sista.
Do yourselves a favor and drive elsewhere for your chipotle cravings.

While the food here was pretty decent when I last ate here, the place has always been overcrowded with minimal seating space. Sorry, I refuse to sit and eat right next to people standing in line waiting to order. I don’t know why you would try to squeeze such a popular establishment into such a small space. I wasn’t impressed and I had to stand in a line to refill my drink. I felt like I was back in high school or something. Oh, I’ve had the same experience at Freebirds too, but this was worse. The staff were pleasant though, thank goodness!

This place was absolutely filthy. Outdoor patio floors and indoor floors. Trash everywhere. Tables trashed.
Enough said.

There was nothing really wrong with this place, but nothing stood out either. The portion size is huge but it should be for over $ 8.00 for a fast food burrito. With a family of 4, it cost us close to $ 30.00 and the kids meal was cheap. The rice on my burrito was half cooked. I hear people going crazy going to these, but I did not see what people get excited about. The food was just ok. The inside is small and most was stools. They do have outside seating and it was a nice day, so we «enjoyed» our lunch outside. My wife got a huge piece of fat/​gristle with her barbacoa. I may go back to another one, but I will not be in any hurry.

Huge disappointment at this location… food was cold by the time I sat down. Seating area filthy and cluttered. Price is too much for the quality, and amount of food you get… never again

Great tacos, burritos and salads. Better street tacos can be found, but the consistent quality here can’t be beat.

We have been giving this location multiple chances to get better, but no longer.
When lunch is brought in to work from Chipotle, it’s supposed to be a special occasion. A happy well deserved break from whatever you do to earn money.
Alas the Mansfield location has taken the opportunity to sadden, disgust, and infuriate their customers.
I ordered a chicken burrito bowl, And I am still trying to look for an edible piece. It’s either too chewy or it looks pink And I don’t want to get sick. one of my co workers also barely got any edible chicken and another barely got any barbacoa in her bowl.
It really doesn’t matter at what hour you go either. My last visit for dinner the steak was just as gross and inedible.
TL;DR: Please save your time and money and don’t go here!!! Its much more worth it to go to Qdobas or just find the next closet Chipotle until these people find better management.

My husband and I went into the restaurant in Mansfield to order our food. We both wanted our item to contain steak, however, the restaurant said the steak wasn’t ready and wouldn’t be for some time, this was at 11:55am, and they were quite rude about it.
My husband and I went down the street to In and Out and enjoyed our food with wonderful customer service there.
We won’t be returning to this location, next time they might not have the tortillas ready!

Food is ok and I felt the service was ok… until recently. It looks as if the entire crew is new and this one is MUCH less friendly and MUCH less trained.
What happened #chipotle?

Standard fair for Chipotle. Great food. But, as pointed out in the other reviews– the service at this particular store is HORRIBLE!
I was waiting, along with 6 other people, for them to open at 11 this morning. Not only did they not get around to opening the doors until 11:15 or so– all the employees were just sitting in their eating! We could all just see them eating and goofing off! While we were starving and trying not to waste our lunch hour.
When they finally let us in they acted so obnoxious like we were interrupting their lunch time. Uh! For that price AND bad service– try Qdoba!
