Avante Salon 360

The lady who waxed my eyebrows took too much hair off the one eyebrow. So my left eyebrow was noticeably narrower than my right. My facial was great but I will go elsewhere given the mishap with my eyebrows.

My fiancée and I came here for a couples massage not long ago. Several takeaways from «the experience»:
1. The overall atmosphere of the «spa» is very NON relaxing and NON spa like. The walls are thin and there is not much furniture or décor so everything awkwardly echoes. It feels very. «clinical.» (Come to think of it, my dermatologist office is more relaxing than the waiting area and treatment rooms at Avante.) 2. The female masseurs were friendly enough in collecting us and getting us settled. but they both seemed very unsure of the whole process it seemed. They were both nervous and awkward. Which made us both tense as well. (Maybe this was their first couples massage? It felt like 2 high school girls trying out their new cosmetology/​esthetician skills– and that we were their guinea pigs. Again, friendly, but not very professional and reassuring.) UGH: the massage product they use leaves you VERY oily… While massaging my shoulders/​neck she would draw her hands though the nape of my neck and back of the head– making my hair absolutely a greasy mess! The first thing I did was go home and shower and re wash my hair. Yuck. 3. Last, at check out, the young, bored (indian?) receptionist was acted very entitled and rude to my fiancée. From front to back, it seemed like a bunch of high school girls «playing salon.» OVERALL, the whole thing was just very awkward and NOT romantic… I couldn’t WAIT to get out of there. I really can’t put into words how disappointed I am in «the experience» that we received.

I’ve been going here over a year. Only reason I give it any stars is because the girls working there are great people lol BUT this place sucks. I had a spa membership is the only reason I kept going after my last masseuse left. Front counter staff is less then pleasant, spa is less then relaxing, the spa services are weak, feel cheap and aren’t relaxing! My massuses was a great girl but weak hands and didn’t have that spirt a person should have, there was no magic. After my massage I’d have to dress my oily body back in street clothes to get a terrible mani pedi that the poor girls look like it pained them to do since it’s dark and they are on the floor ugh… Pre pedi and mani yourself before you go there is no trimming or digging lol… I’m so happy I’ve finally used up all my credit so I could stop going here lol. Even the salon side was uncomfortable, I think I had to pay by rank of person doing my hair. So I paid a crap load and still didn’t feel comfortable because I knew I didn’t pay the top dollar for the top chair person… I don’t get it, shouldn’t this place be just as proud and confident in all the stylist to pay them and market them the same? Ugh although the other spa off matlock is owned by the same person they are run and work much different, I liked my spa experience off matlock…

Had an excellent massage and mani/​pedi with Courtney. Everything was nice and dark and peaceful. I’ll come again next time I’m in town!

Great experience. Stephanie gets my color perfect (and keeps my gray covered)! She listens to what you want and makes it happen! Great mani and pedi too. Stephanie’s nail art is amazing! Avante provides a great atmosphere and Stephanie provides the best service!

I was very disappointed with my experience with this salon.
They give a hand massage but only massaged 1 hand.
The highlights were not done correctly.
The girl was willing to try to correct them however, it just did not work.
I was expecting a high end service, but did not get it.
I think the people are very nice, just did not do quality work.
I would never return.

This place has terrible customer service. They refused to honor the package I purchased and expected me to still pay for a service we never received. They charged my credit card for 200.00 and we never received the massage. Their idea of accommodating a new customer was pay 50% of a another service and we had to come during the week? Terrible!

Avante 360 is great! The location is great and the atmosphere is very modern. As a male, I was apprehensive at first to go here for a haircut, but I can tell you I will not being going back to one of those large chain haircut places again after going here. I have had 3 haircuts here now and the stylists all know what they are doing. Everyone here is very nice and I did not feel like I was just being herded through like when I go to the regular haircut places. If you want a great haircut in a great atmosphere by great people, make sure to check out Avante 360. I also like that they are local, I always try to support local, homegrown places whenever I can.
