A Canvas Social

Wonderful place, I have been to the regular class and one of the family nights. The instructors are wonderful and make sure you are having a good time the entire time you are there. The family night was great my daughter loved it and wants to go back! Everything I have gone the staff is knowledable and so helpful! I would highly recommend this for either a fun girls night out or for a great time with your kids!

I recently went back and I must say… This place is awesome. I love the one on one feel I get from the teachers. I refuse to go to other studios because their stools look so uncomfortable, but A Canvas Social has padded high back stools. You guys have to check this place out.

A Canvas Social is great for a date night or a girls night out. I’ve been to both and I love it!

Ty the instructor was excellent. He kept it simple to follow him step-​by-​step instructions and he offered lots of encouragement.
You don’t have to be talented with art. You just need to be open to doing something fun with friends and have something to show when done. I’m surprised how well my paint actually turn out considering I have zero art experience. Highly recommended to unwind!!! Definitely coming back

We had a great time at our paint night! We were very happy and love our paintings! Pam the instructor was very fun and patient and Jeff the assistant was very helpful. I would highly recommend this place. Great art, very fun instructor and Local family owned and operated, not a franchise!

I have been to several painting classes that are BYOB. I never thought they could range so vastly in experience but they do.
My friend and I went to Canvas Social on a Wednesday night. We showed up a few minutes past the hour and the other two people there and the instructor had already started. I found that strange especially because there were only 4 of us total and because the class had already been canceled once and they rescheduled it.
My friend I were trying to play catch up and the instructor really wasn’t the best. He was really just busy painting. The 4 of us there really had to ask a lot of questions to get him engaged with us. He seem to want to speed us through different steps and didn’t want us to take the time we needed. I also thought it was strange that the owner and another older man were there just watching. So I thought maybe they were watching the instructor or something or they just wanted us to hurry up and leave. It was a strange atmosphere to say the least.
This painting turned out to be absolutely the worst one I have done and it probably shouldn’t have. I think there is potential for this place to be great with a different instructor and adjusting the environment to be a little more welcoming and relaxing. I would definitely give it another chance if I was in the area but only with a groupon purchase otherwise it wasn’t worth the money of he original price. I drove from Dallas for this class and it just wasn’t worth it. But if you are in the area and want to try something different give it a shot.
