My grandmother had a dead squirrel in her chimney. We consulted a two places and Top Hat was nearly HALF the price of the other guys. They told us they could come the next day between 730am-​8am. They pulled into the driveway at 715 and completed the job before 830. The young men that came were polite and I felt comfortable leaving for work while my grandmother stayed home. Extremely impressed and would recommend to anyone.

excellent service. knowledgeable and honest. cleaned out our dryer vent thoroughly all the way outside, like new. i would not have believed the junk in there had i not seen it with my own eyes. 2004 house new to us. i doubt it’s ever had the vent cleaned before. clothes are drying faster, already saving money. if you don’t know why the vent needs to be cleaned, go look on you tube «dryer lint fire» vids. this stuff is super flammable. 3000 a year started by lint fire. they have all the equipment to do it right. i do dyi on most everything. but this is something that requires the right equipment to make sure it’s done and not make it worse.

My wife and I recently purchased a house with a fireplace and the inspector recommended having someone take a look at it before we used it. We contacted Top Hat and had them come out twice — once for an initial inspection and a cleaning and once more a few weeks later to do some work that they’d identified when they were inspecting the fireplace on the first visit.
Scheduling the appointments with Debbie was easy and she called us the day before each visit to remind us. Royal did the work for us and was prompt, friendly, did the work quickly, cleaned up after himself, and provided some good tips on fireplace use and maintenance.
All in all, a great experience!

Excellent service from these folks. A friend of mine recommended them to me and I would highly recommend them to anyone. We had our chimney cap replaced and they were timely, friendly, honest, and affordable. They did an excellent job and they really seem to care about their customers. I will definitely use them again.

I called Top Hat for work at my house in Austin. The scheduling process was easy, the called before coming and were on time. Royal, the owner arrived. He was professional in every regard. He answered question and explained the steps in the process. I had him do both chimney and dryer vent cleaning. Both were done well and very neatly given the nature of the process. The price I felt was fair and I’d definitely have him back. I’d highly recommend Top Hat.

i had no idea what to expect when having a faux fire installed in my fireplace. the owner, royal, arrived with duke. they both had top hats on and were very professional as well as some of the coolest men i’ve met while dealing with the inner-​workings of a house addition. royal explained how to use my faux fire and not kill myself with carbon monoxide poisoning. kim, who runs the office, is great and made sure to squeeze in my installation before the holidays. ace experience all around!

These guys are awesome! I have used them several times in the past. I called them today and Kenny arrived a few hours later. He said that my chimney was clean and then caulked my chimney cap for free. You can bet that I’ll call Kenny when it’s time to sweep. Honest and reliable!
