We really enjoyed having lunch here, they had a very spacious and comfortable seating area which contributed to our experience nicely. Our server was very polite and we really enjoyed the food. I have to say that their jalapeño ranch is the best I’ve tried yet, we couldn’t get enough of it! We enjoyed our enchiladas and the value was good. We would definitely come back! Consider dropping by if you find yourself around the Manor area.

As an ex-Texan now living in Denver, I miss Tex-mex dearly. We still visit Texas regularly, and eat at Ramos once a year or more. My taste buds can only rate Ramos 5-stars. I’ve had something different every time. The queso appetizers are good, and something you can never find in Colorado. Service is sometimes slow.

Really great food and super friendly service! The shrimp fajita’s are excellent, pretty much everything there is! Wednesday nights they have live mariachi and it just adds to the atmosphere. Great place for just the two of us or the whole family!

Real good food. The rice was seasoned really good and so were the refried beans. I got the flautas, nice and crunchy and yummy chicken inside, not dry like some places. And the salsa was nice and chunky with perfect heat. I’ll be back soon. Though it wouldn’t hurt for the staff to be a little more welcoming.

It’s nice to come into a place you frequent regularly and have staff who know what you like too order. As always, the service is excellent and the food is delicious. Wednesday night mariachis add to the fun! Even though what we order isn’t on the menu, the staff is always accommodating!

someone told me there food was great so we planed to go there 5 adults and 2 kids 9 yrs and 2 yrs old we then were in the breakfast hour this place was not busy only 3 few guests were there and 4 servers. we all ordered breakfast plates from migas and one omelette & one waffle all of us got coffee our final bill was 66 dollars my questions was why $ 66.00 ?? well the reason was because they added tips automatically to our bill to me that’s not the best way to get your tips servers since your service to us was not good this lady who take care us was really rude she speaked really loud she was obese so that way you know who she just in case you go by there so be ready because she will rush you at the time to take the order thanks to rubia who came to our table to refill our coffees because she was not on top of the service of our table definitely we are not going back to this place for breakfast but we sure will probably give them a try to try their lunch. by the way there food portions were very small for breakfast next time i would highly recommend to go to taqueria arandas you get better portions and better flavors for 3.99 a breakfast plate.

Here on our honeymoon staying at a bed & breakfast and this was the only restaurant in town that was open late, but boy are we lucky! Staff, even at the end of their shift, are happy and friendly and welcome us in 30 mins from closing time. Not only that but we asked about the fajita meat and she offered us a sample. No one has ever done that for us before! To top it all off the food was amazing. Ramos queso was delicious and the beef fajitas were deliciously tender.

Awful service. Waited 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge me, another 10 to have my order taken. Should have taken that as a sign and eaten elsewhere. Servers all seemed as if they could not care less about waiting on tables. I ordered chicken tacos, received beef tacos. Food was lukewarm. I guess the upside is it’s cheap? Awful, as I may have mentioned.

Well. everyone has a EX they have given a 2nd or 3rd chance to. just to see if things can work out for the better… but it most cases things end up going down the same road as before. and this visit may have just about done us in… service was horrible… slow and uncaring… queso was cold by the time we got our 2nd basket of chips. when the food arrived. everything was luke warm at best… charros were just above room temp. although my chile Rellenos were hot due to the fact that they were deep-fried.wife’s enchiladas were sub par on size and over all heat. rice was near cold. just can’t see us coming back anytime soon, if at all. fair well Ramos… it was good while it lasted.

Last week was my first time going to ramos, I was a bit anxious cause of the bad reviews but my experience was the complete opposite !! Coming in everything seemed clean and in order, I was seated pretty quickly, and soon after I was seated I was given chips and salsa(best was the white salsa) a couple of seconds later my waitress arrived took my drinks and my order. Not so long after my food arrived, I ordered the deluxe tomatillo chicken enchiladas accompanied with charro bean and mexican style rice, the food was overall delicious ! I will definitely come here again and I recommend everyone to do the same. The food is the delicious ! The best tex-mex I’ve had in forever ! Don’t let these misleading reviews scare you away trust me !!(:

The food is great — if you can get someone to wait on you. The first time we experienced poor(or lack thereof) service I assumed it was an off day. We were forced to ask for things in broken sentences because the waitress was is such a hurry to get back to her conversation with the other wait staff. She couldn’t pause long enough to get a simple drink refill request in at the same time we asked for sour cream(which is an extra charge) and was requested at the beginning with the original orders. Today(07/25/2015) we walked in with 1 large table being served their food, 1 table cashing out and 1 just being seated. I went to the restroom and when I returned we had chips and salsa but no one had come to take our drink order. There were 3 waitresses and 1 waiter. The waiter was taking care of the table cashing out, and a waitress was setting down food orders at the big table. Another one was resting by the soda machine and the other was making her way up to the table being seated by the hostess. 4 minutes later another table was seated and orders were taken. The 4 members of the wait staff congregated behind the counter staring out at the tables(empty) and never once thought to do their job. After being ignored for 13 minutes we stood up and went to hand the hostess our menus to which she replied«thank you, how was everything?» I explained that I had no idea and that we’d never be back. It’s unfortunate that the service is so poor in a small town. We enjoy other restaurants in Manor but will drive elsewhere from now on for Tex-Mex because I refuse to throw my hard earned money in the direction of those who treat customers with such disregard. So long Ramos’…you were good for a while.

Love, love, love the fajitas and creamy jalapeño dip. Fantastic sweet tea and everyone we take there loves it too. The mariachi singers are loud when there — but talented. We always seem to see at least one person there we know. Service and food quality has remained consistent.

Food was good, caldo de res was average. Service was friendly, but extremely slow. Nachos were very good. Did I mention the service was extremely slow?

I’ve been eating here weekly with my family for over 10 years. Tonight was my last night. Before the family opened the sports bar next door this place was 3.5−4 stars. Since the sports bar opened, the quality of the food and the service has been terrible. I’d give it half a star but it’s not an option.

I always get the enchilada plate when I come here. So good! I really like their salsa and guacamole. The service tends to be a little slow hence the 4 star rating.

The food is delicious. I’ve been coming here for years, and gotten accustomed to the poor customer service. This morning, however, my mother and I had to sit and listen to three employees talk loudly about how gross restaurants are(mentioning how unsanitary lemons are right after my mom put one in her drink) and one guy in particular said, «I just scratched my [genitalia].» He said it two times all while were sitting here trying to choke down our breakfast. Their conversion continued for several minutes, with me making awkward eye contact with another customer. When it came to paying, it took the usual ~5 minutes sitting with our plates stacked to be noticed even though there were only two other customers. I’m disappointed and will think twice before coming back.

The 2stars I give Ramos is for the staff. I can’t blame them for the lousy food. Everything here is bland, and I’ve tried coming back after months, the food is continually terrible. 2x the tomato salsa served with chips had gone bad and was soured. I avoid this place, what a shame!

Well, I’m not really surprised, but God love it… I did not like the Ramos queso that the waitress bragged on. It was yucky tasting. The TV was playing some super trashy spanish station with girls with not may clothes on LOL!!! I at chicken fajita tacos and they were overdone, chicken was close to jerky. The tortillas were fabulous… saving grace. The really sucky party was I was sooo wanting some tea and it gross tasting. I know that canister hasn’t been cleaned in a while. I did like the salsa :-/saving grace? So, y’all know me, I’m going to try it again, just so that I can have another opp to say great things. Oh, and BTW little waitress girl, work on your pronounciation of filet. I wouldn’t be hateful if you hadn’t been hateful and laughed histerically of my friend’s mispronunciation of a spanish dish. We all have faults, lets not be jerks about it.

We’ll it happened — we have written this place off forever. Went there earlier this week. The place isn’t full and in fact there are only two other tables occupied. This is a night where you seat yourself and we did — two tables away from one of two with customers. Waitress is at that table at least four times and does not even acknowledge our presence. Then another couple come is and wow, they get menus within a minute of seating themselves. We left. It is obvious that unless your are Hispanic, you are not welcome here. I called right after we left and spoke with a manager. He, of course, tells me how sorry he is and to please return because they will make it right. I don’t think so. You had your chance and blew it. Rumors are right, if you are not Hispanic, you aren’t welcome!!!

I was a little skeptical based on reviews but I was pleasantly surprised by this little gem! The inside is clean and simple, with a small bar in the back that serves cold beer and good margaritas. What more could you ask for? The salsa is a little less restaurant-style and a little more salsa fresca than I would like, but it was still delish. The real treat is the jalapeño ranch. They looked at me a little funny when I called it ranch and corrected me with«you want more white salsa?» «Yes, yes I do!» My chile relleno was crispy and tasted great and all items on my plate seemed fresh. The menu seemed well rounded with a plethora of enchilada sauces and included fajitas, tamales, caldo and even breakfast plates. The menu also has burgers and fries for those who are confused by visiting a good ol’ Mexican joint :)
