Joe and his team exemplify why small businesses are great. They always greet you more as friend than customer, and are genuinely interested in helping you find what you need. Although they are a smaller sized outfit, I’ve noticed that on some of their items they have significantly lower prices than their big box store competitors. They have a huge selection of wine, and we also enjoy their cheeses, veggie burgers, and gluten free products. It’s always a pleasure to support this place, and it’s a vital part of the community.

This place is a gem! We stopped here on our way to the beach for supplies (gluten free bread, drinks, etc.) and this place had pretty much anything you could ask for in an organics store. I wish we had one in our town! Definitely stopping here if in Manistee again.

Great little health food store in Manistee. It was pretty much a lifesaver on our drive home from visiting family last night. We were able to cobble together a meal out of some of their items. They had a lot of interesting things for a smaller store and some that I can’t get at my huge co-​op. If I would have had more time I would have hit their frozen food section a little harder. The clerk was very friendly even though it was 10 minutes until closing time. If you are into organic food and in the area this is a must stop.
