Nice indeed. Great pulled pork. We make it a point to stop by when we’re in the area. Great sauces to choose from too!

What a pleasant surprise! After living in NC for many years we didn’t think we would find great BBQ in this area. Everything about this place was wonderful-the staff, décor and best of all the food. I would definitely put the beef brisket up against some of the best from the south. My husband had the Cajun sausage and loved it. Also try the hush puppies with an amazing dipping sauce. Great sides too-we had the corn pudding which was beyond yummy and the baked beans had unbelievable flavor. Locally made beer topped it all off. Can’t wait to go back with friends!

Very nice staff, decent beer line up. Not extremely impressed with the BBQ or the sides. Gave the place three stars for their customer service and prices.

This place is a cool atmosphere with several of theirs brews and ciders on tap! If you purchase a beer you can get their souvenir glass for $ 1 extra! I had the pulled pork, mac and cheese sandwich. That’s right, it is pulled pork topped with mac and cheese! Boom! We had the bacon appetizer which wasn’t really anything special. I would suggest the gravy fries topped with goat cheese and pork! There r several sauces to top on your dinners which i am much happy for. My uncle had the pulled bork platter. He liked his too. The baked beans r bangin!

If it weren’t for the beer, this place would be history. They all need to take a field trip to Shakedown and or JoBoy’s to see how BBQ is really done. I had the chili cheese fries, which were like they could have been made with canned chili and that may be an insult to canned chili makers all over the world! The meat is poor quality and barely qualifies as BBQ at all! So sad because we have so very few edible places around here and this is just another one!

Stopped here for lunch on our way to Philadelphia. Smoked beer chicken was very good, great flavor. Hush puppies were excellent! My coworker ordered the ribs and he liked them a lot. Prices are very reasonable. Much better option than a service station.

The ribs are delish and so tender; coleslaw and baked beans were very good as well. Highly recommend.

We stopped in to give Divine Swine a shot. We love barbecue but just haven’t been able to fine a decent spot. Well this one is it! We got the Divine Platter so we could sample a little of everything. It consisted of pulled pork, a barbecued sausage and a large helping of brisket, two slices of Texas toast and two sides. We also got an order of poutine fries with brisket off the appetizer menu which was almost a meal by itself. The best thing was the pulled pork — it was cooked firm and not mushy or swimming in sauce like 5 or 6 of the other places we have tried. There was a nice assortment of sauces on the table including a mustard vinegar base which was one of my favorites as well as a hickory, sweet, and a bourbon based. The brisket was excellent and cooked as well as any I have had out west. The sausage was nothing special . The sides we chose were the baked beans and the hush puppies, the baked beans were outstanding and the hush puppies were very flavorful and crunchy. The poutine appetizer was a huge mound of fresh cut fries covered with cheese curds, gravy and a large amount of brisket — I would get this a meal alone next time but they have several more items on the menu I am going to try first. If you are passing through the area I would highly recommend stopping in.

Cute pig theme and friendly employees but the ribs disappointed. This casual BBQ restaurant has inside seating and outside picnic tables — and is new, updated, clean… The metal pig and log that was pig shaped and pig drawings — all cute touches. But when we ordered ribs they were brought out in about 2 — 3 minutes. Since we were among the only people there I was a little uneasy knowing they clearly did not cook them for us. Sure enough they were dry, not just made. The corn pudding and bean sides were good. If I’m going to eat unhealthy food I have to run many many miles to work off, the food had better at least be good :)

Great bbq! I was on my way back from Hershey Park and made a pit stop here. There aren’t many good bbq places in NJ. The brisket sandwich with brisket was moist and tender but not overly fatty. The sausage was good too and had a nice smoky flavor. The ribs were fall off the bone. The smoked chicken was a bit of a let down though. A bit on the dry side and this was the dark meat! The hush puppies were tasty. The pickles are more sweet than salty which I liked. If I’m in the area again I’ll definitely be back.

I’m pretty impressed with this place, and pleased that I pass by frequently! ;) Very cute, inside and out. Lots of seating. Relaxed atmosphere. Beer, wine and Fantastic food! The pulled pork, hush puppies, and cherry bourbon brownie were all delicious! That brownie is TO.DIE.FOR. I can’t wait to have another. I liked the Kansas style and mustard sauces best. Will absolutely be giving Divine swine my business whenever possible.

Yummy food, I had the smoked chicken salad and it was great! They also brew their own beer and have them on draft. Also their on brew are basic and limited they seem like quality options.

The look and feel of this place lives up to its name. Décor was very nice and commensurate with being a BBQ joint. The food was pretty much average. There was nothing that jumped out as remarkable but not bad either. I had the brisket. It was kind of missing the smoke ring that is customary with slow cooked BBQ. My wife had the sampler platter. The pork was pretty good and the sausage was bland. All in all it was a fair value.

Let me preface this by disclosing that I’m from Texas and, therefore, have strong preferences about BBQ. I rate the brisket at Divine Swine their best offering. Last visit I tried the ribs, and was reassured by the server that they would not be served sauced; in fact, they don’t sauce any of their meats before serving. However, my half-rack DID come pre-sauced, although not heavily. I find most sauces to be overly sweet these days, which is why I found it objectionable. In the past I’ve enjoyed their Poutine(called something else on the menu) but it’s fries covered in gravy, topped with cheese curds. These are served with brisket trimmings(called«burnt ends» in the south) and THESECHUNKSOFHAPPINESSARETHEBESTTHINGCOMIN’ OUTTATHATKITCHEN!!! Now if they’d just offer a Burnt Ends plate to the menu I’d be a much more frequent customer! This time, however, the fries were seriously undercooked to hold up under gravy, and said gravy had far too much beer flavor this batch. I’d recommend ordering your fries extra-crisp and hope they’ll return to the old proportion of gravy ingredients and it’ll again have that nice, meaty flavor with just a bit of beer to complement. Kinda pricey for the portion size and walk-up ordering. I’ve found the other meats and sides to be passable but not great but the house-made desserts are usually well worth the splurge. The atmosphere and décor are fun and cheerful. Patio area good on nice days. Extremely clean and everything’s well stocked and well-tended.

On way up to Hershey –Looking for a place to stop for dinner and stumbled upon this gem. Real deal absolutely delicious BBQ. Super friendly service staff… Nice inviting environment This is what it’s all about… Tender perfectly cooked meats with amazing sauces . Highlight here was most definitely the Brisket Poutine Fries. AMAZING! And they are also a brewery with some great beers to sample as well! Really a great find!

We stopped here on a whim on our way home and were pleasantly surprised. The food and service was amazing! To top it off, we got growlers and had them filled for only a few dollars! We love this place and will definitely be back!

First off, I am very fussy with BBQ joints. On top of that, this place replaces a market place who I annually purchased black raspberry pies from. While I was sad to see them go, as was my aunt who lives just down the road, I am pleased with the new establishment. Now my aunt had visited it here before me and according to her experience, it was nothing special. She went with a group and they ordered platters. It was good, but nothing to write home about. That is how I would describe most BBQ places. Especially when the sauce is on the side. And yet, strapped with nowhere else to go, I drug my aunt back for a second meal, ensuring her that BBQ places are all about the menu choices. While she had ordered plain meat platters the last time she visited, this time we ordered the specialty sandwiches. The Cheesy Swine: a mixture of pork BBQ and macaroni and cheese and the Holy Smoke: brisket and spicy sausage topped with coleslaw. Both of these were great and came with one side each. We tried the hush puppies(a favorite of my aunt’s) and the baked beans which were also good. The most notable thing about this place however are the sauces. Of course, the same could be said about any of your BBQ joints. If the sauces are good they BBQ should be good, but of all the places I have tried, Divine Swine comes out on top. All of their sauces are delicious and authentic. Loved every bite! *I asked some of the staff if they planned to add new items to the menu as they come up with new recipes. They weren’t sure, but took my recommendation of a monthly special into consideration. Hope they follow through!

Really good BBQ! Our family stopped in earlier today for a late lunch and early dinner. The special of the day was the beer chicken with one side for $ 7. The chicken was nicely done, smelled amazing, and tasted even better! We’ve been here twice so far and have not been disappointed. The service has been great and food comes out quickly. There’s a ton of seating upstairs and they have a cool little kids section with some toys and a chalk board wall for writing on. I’ll also recommend trying some of their brews even though I’ve only had one so far. The Gold was really good and went perfectly with my bbq chicken.

Divine Barbeque. Tender brisket flavored just right. So is the pulled pork. And so is the Carolina sauce. What a great find. I wonder why they run out of ribs. I think I will find out as soon as I can. Tip: it is definitely worth getting off the Pennsylvania Turnpike for this.
