I am on the W. Coast, and had never done business with Backcountry Edge. However, I saw that they are a Google Trusted Company. They have price matching and a 1 year no questions asked returns policy, similar to REI. I purchased a Marmot rain jacket, which they price matched, the order was processed in 2 hours(wow!), and I received the jacket 2 business days later with USPS priority mail, just in time for the first El Nino rain storm. Customer service rep was pleasant, knowledgable and professional. The jacket arrived in new condition. I just placed my second order today, and again, the order was processed in 2 hours with very friendly customer service(Becky). Needless to say, I am extremely impressed with Backcountry Edge. They are fast becoming my favorite outdoor gear store.

This is my new go to place for camp gear. Placed an order on Saturday Received it on Tues! FAST! and in Perfect condition. I had purchased the 2015 Gregory Baltoro 65, and the Therma Rest Trail Light. I went online Thursday, 5 days later, and saw that the Baltoro price had dropped from 239.95(which was the cheapest I had seen) to 224.95 and the Therma rest from 79.95 to 67.95. I called to ask what to do and was helped by Steve who said he would absolutely honor the sale and refunded me the difference. I was very happy at how easy it all was. Great company! Ordered a pack online, which was at the best price anywhere(looked all over in person and online). I wanted a women’s pack, and they are harder to find in stores than the unisex or men’s packs. Fast, free shipping(over a certain cost), free t-shirt for signing up for emails, and a free gift was thrown in too! I definitely recommend ordering from them!

Ordered set of poles and they came with 2of he same gloves They said just return them ok so another 10 days to wait because they didn’t check before mailing to me. Their Backcountry fliers were inside the box so don’t tell me it was a direct ship from manufacturer. My fault. should have bought from Amazon. lesson learned

This is a great company to work with. I was very satisfied. I purchased a Marmot Women’s Gore-Tex jacket online. I wanted to pay for it with two different credit cards, one a gift card and the other my bank card. I didn’t expect them to be able to do it as I requested it online. But they followed through — they really read your e-mails and they did exactly what I requested. I was thrilled with that. When I received the jacket I realized that I had ordered a men’s jacket by mistake. I was so disappointed and upset with myself for not realizing it. I was also afraid I was going to lose my money, i.e. no return. But Backcountry Edge was so pleasant and accommodating that not only was I able to return it, but they paid for the shipping because I was exchanging it for another jacket. I received the replacement jacket within a week! No extra cost to me. I’m not sure the women’s jacket was on sale at that time, but they offered it to me at the same price as the men’s jacket, which was on sale. I could not be happier with this company. You just don’t get good, honest, service like that anymore. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent customer service… I ordered a gregory baltoro 75 backpack from their website, only to decide that I should have gotten the smaller baltoro 65 instead. I e-mailed them the next day to change the order, but it had already shipped! I ordered the backpack that I wanted and was able to conveniently return the first one when it arrived. Throughout this, customer service was very proactive and actually called me in response to my e-mail to explain that the other pack had already shipped. Great service, great prices.
