Once I first walked into Alfred Angelo I was greeted by the consultant and everything seemed great. That was about the only pleasant thing the entire visit.
The dress selection at the store I was not impressed with. They did not have much variety and everything looked the same. I felt like it was the same dress design just made in different styles. I only ended up picking four dresses to try on. Also all the dressed fabric and lace liked so cheap.
My consultant was helpful but was also did not seem to really care. She didn’t ask me anything about myself or my wedding or my fiancé. She didn’t really help me pick out dresses either she just kinda left and came back to me every 5minutes. I didn’t feel special or taken care of like everyone says you should feel when looking for your dress. The other consultants in the store were also very unprofessional and rude. They were laughing incredible loud and shouting at each other from across the store. I felt like I was in a sorority house not a bridal store.
The worst part of my trip was when I told my consultant that I really did not feel special in any of the dresses that I tried on and that I was not sure I was ready to buy anything just yet. As soon as I told her her entire demeanor changed. She literally gave me a nasty look and left and never came back to check on me. She didn’t even help me out of my dress I had to have my mom help me get out of it!!! I was so shocked. She came back once to take the info for the dress and when I went to the front to tell her thank you for her time she didn’t even look up and me or shake my hand. I could not believe how rude she was to me and my guest. She was also making very unprofessional comments to my guests and at one point pushed one of my bridesmaids to get out of my way. I think she meant it to be funny but she actually pushed her.
Needless to say the service was bad, the store was nothing special to look at and the dress selection was not impressive and everything looked cheap.
I would not recommend anyone go here for their dress. Go to In White just 5min away. I went there after and found the dress of my dream and the selection and service was so amazing! You felt like a bride there and not just another customer to make money off of.

Changing my review to 5 stars. Why just a few days after writing you ask? Well because with a little persistence I was able to talk to the district manager who very kindly understood my situation and was able to help me get it completely rectified in the form of a refund. To be clear, I never had a problem with the customer service as everyone was understanding, but the policy itself didn’t allow for any situations like mine that fell in the gray area. Now that I know they are willin g to work with the gray situations, I can honestly say they lived up to their claim I read that said they strive to have every customer satisfied. Thank you thank you thank you for easing my mind and my wallet so I can now focus on getting these babies out safely.

I had an amazing experience here. I visited quite a few bridal shops and this was the only time i felt anyone listened to me and what i wanted.
