I cannot say enough about Erik Nissani of Willow Stone Realty. He is dependable, trustworthy and extremely knowledgeable about commercial real estate in Manhattan. Being in the initial phase of looking for commercial space, Erik was patient, and extremely kind while listening to my needs/​what I was looking for in a space. He made me feel comfortable, never rushed, and provided an incredible amount of information right off the bat, educating me about the landscape and what he felt might be the best type of space for my needs in terms of size, location, etc. Knowing this was my first time looking for commercial space, he took the time to explain how the process typically works, and what is generally required in terms of lease terms, financing, etc. to give me a baseline understanding of the market. After being solicited by several commercial real estate brokers who I felt were pushy and not trustworthy, I was given Erik Nissani’s contact by a colleague. After my initial meeting with Erik, I felt comfortable and confident that he was honest, professional and diligent in his work ethic. I was looking for commercial real estate in the Flatiron area recently. Erik had called me in the past and I reconnected with him. He was very efficient in showing us choices that met our needs. He was very understanding and patient as we made our decisions and he was very even-​handed in giving us advice and not trying to hard sell us into making any decisions.
Most importantly, he responded very well when I presented him with a potentially complicated situation where he might lose the business. He understood the situation and gave us all the room we needed to work through it knowing he might lose the deal. Others would not have done that. Ultimately, it worked out and we ended up in the unit he recommended to us. He helped us negotiate the deal and we couldn’t be happier with how it all worked out.
