Unique Shape Threading Salon

Small little threading and waxing salon. When I walked in there was only two ladies to do your eyebrows. The lady named Naz, did my eyebrows. She did a good job the only thing I didn’t like, it seem like she was rushing. I asked to thread my upper lip and she was doing it in between doing my eyebrows!

This used to be my go-​to salon for threading. Though it wasn’t much to look at, the two women who did my eyebrows, when I first started going here a few months back, were amazing. They listened to everything I requested and gave me eyebrows that I’d been dreaming of. More recently those two women I first encountered have been at the salon less and less, and there’s been an ever-​changing roster of new threaders who don’t listen to my requests and have completely changed the look and shape of my eyebrows. Just used my final free threading from my punch card and I’ve left with rainbow-​shaped eyebrows. I won’t be returning.

Avoid!!! Do not give these people your business. Take your time and money elsewhere. It should have been the first red flag for me when I walked into the salon and it was completely empty… The girl who did my full arm and underarm wax gave me the nastiest look when I walked in as if I was interrupting her break or something. She looked disgusted as she was working and literally rolled her eyes when I tried to be friendly and talk to her. Nevertheless, I paid and left a generous tip (as I always do) but I will never be back and not only will I tell my own friends to avoid this place but I will tell strangers to tell THEIR friends to avoid this place too if the conversation of threading/​waxing ever comes up. Also, $ 7 for eyebrows?! Is that a joke? I’m sure there are many other places in Manhattan that offer excellent work for $ 5.

Unprofessional and terrible customer service, the next time you walk into a dark salon run! The girl who did my eyebrow was extremely rude and unprofessional And ask for my eyebrows I had to pluck it when I got home, stay away!

I’ve only been to two places for threading (before I did it myself or my friends did it), and this is the better of the two. It’s $ 7.00, which is fair for threading, especially in midtown. The woman who did my brows was much more precise and attentive than I was accustomed to, which was great. She listened to my special request and my eyebrow goal (I’m trying to make them as big as possible) and she was mindful of it. My brows look the best they have in a while, and I didn’t feel like she was trying to ruin my brows by taking off too much (like I did at Beauty Connection).
They offer a deal for brows, every tenth visit, you get a free threading.
This business is on the ground floor of my office building, and I will undoubtedly be back.
