Not wanting to throw away a good stroller just because one wheel was broken, we were delighted to read the good reviews and find a place that can repair our trusty Mclaren(the actual brand name store closed in NYC). When picking up the stroller we saw that both front wheels have been replaced with an explanation that the wheels come in pairs so might as well have both replaced since we are paying for both anyway(something that was never explained). Upon further inspection we saw that both back wheels were completely wobbly. The gentleman who introduced himself as the technician said that he remembered us drop off the stroller and it was not in this condition. He also noted that the work that was done on the front wheels was not up to par and missing some plating or other. We asked what can be done about the back wheels and he took it down again to the lab(I presume it was a lab of some sort) while we waited with two kids outside for another 20 minutes in the amazing cold breeze of late November in New York. He finally emerged(very nice and courteous) telling us that he does remember the stroller being in better condition when it was dropped off but not to worry because all that is wrong is a small«star» thingy that he doesn’t have on hand but should get any day now. Being it Friday, we understood that Monday was the earliest. It was clearly conveyed that it’s a few minute thing once the star thingys arrive and all he need to do is put it in and clamp it tight so «don’t worry». To our surprise, we got a phone call Monday morning, notifying us that both the back wheels need to be replaced and that will cost another $ 140 including the work!!! I called and explained to the lady on the phone that her technician told us face to face that he vividly remembers the stroller as it came in and that it was not in such a bad condition. This was met with a wall of counter explanations and theories such as: The technician says he remembers some wobbling when stroller was brought in(when he absolutely was on our side when we were there) and now that there is no weight and pressure so it looks worse than it is(we gave it in to them without a child or any other pressure to begin with). The NERVE!, to change stories, make us feel like idiots and try to extort more money for things we didn’t need(and even if we did… to charge $ 140 for something that was described as the simplest task possible). Not only was this a waste of time but a good lesson learned. I hope other parents will not go through this needless and pointless aggravation. Good business is based on decency and honesty.

I highly recommend the Tot Squad for repairs to Bugaboo strollers. We have a 2010 bugaboo chameleon that has collapsed a few times — suspect too many bumpy Brooklyn sidewalks, and bumping up stoop and subway steps! We wanted to understand if it could be repaired. I contacted the Tot Squad by email and they came back almost immediately asking for more information and some pictures. We sent the pics and again, they were extremely responsive in coming back with their diagnosis that the seat frame needed to be replaced. They offered to order and ship it directly to us asap. Overall we were impressed by their very responsive service and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommend!

I had my britax stroller and car seat cleaned at the west village location last week. The stroller had accumulated grime from a 5 week trip to Europe and India … Not to mention the post sand pit spoils on a regular basis. The stroller is now shining clean. The stroller and car seat are as good as new! In fact they were new enough for my cousin to now take over for her new born. Great to have a service like this in manhattan. High recommend it!

CleanBeeBaby cleaned my UppaBaby Cruz stroller at their West Village location at Slate NYC dry cleaner. It took only 2 hours and my stroller was like NEW! All the dirt from the under basket was gone and all my coffee spill stains on the top of the light blue canopy was gone! Thanks! Brillant! I recommend!
