boring, tasteless humor. There are definitely better comedy shows out there for the holiday season.

Very Funny!!! Had such a good time watching these actors in multiple rolls. There was alot of energy. Loved it.

This was the worst play I have ever seen, without a shadow of a doubt. Terrible acting, terrible story(ironically about a horrible play), no music whatsoever, useless roles. The lights kept going on and off during the show consistently. There was a guy actually holding the faulty plug to the wall to make them stay on, to no avail. People were wasted in the audience. At some point, they had to exit a drunk man from the theater. There was a woman vomiting in the women’s room. It was a horrendous experience all around. PLEASE, I beg you, PLEASE, do not get fooled by the catchy title! There were no laughs, here, no good theater, nothing redeemable about the play whatsoever.

OK… So I wasn’t too thrilled about this play at all… Yes, I was expecting for the biggest cliched play in the world, hence, the title; however, the dialogue was filled with unnecessary lines that were more in tune with shock value than making a point, really. It was supposed to be about Christmas, and all I saw was a very lackluster rendition of the Nativity story, with no real funny taglines. The gay F bomb was thrown a couple of times, and the N bomb as well, and I was waiting to see what would come out of it, but to no avail. The synopsis of the plot was to be about a bad musical… but that is just supposed to be the plot… This play was actually a double mockery… about a bad play, WITHIN a bad play… I did see Michael Musto wearing black socks and beach sandals outside during intermission in person though!!! P. S. My BF enjoyed it… so, that’s where the other star comes in…

Alternative Theatre Company has done a great job at creating a hilarious medium of expression. When I first heard the title, I thought of the Wanda Sykes PSA commercial, but soon realized that the title was as literal as it could possibly be. Elyse Beyer and the crew gave an excellent comical performance that made the time fly by. I felt as if the show didn’t need an intermission. Not to mention how Joe Marshall eased the development of the characters’ personality on us in the first half. I thoroughly enjoyed the show and hope for more collaborations between the Actors’ Playhouse and Alternative Theatre Company.
