Steve’s Floral

Steve’s Floral created and delivered a splendid standing spray for a funeral. We live out-​of-​state and were able to choose an arrangement on her website, but wanted to tweak it to coordinate it with flowers chosen by the widow. When asked about the alterations, Jan immediately said yes.
And, boy, did she make it work. After seeing the arrangement in person, you see Jan has a great sense of color and balance. This is a florist who was kind, professional and impressive.

My parents surprised Eric R. and I with a beautiful bouquet from Steve’s Floral. My mom is very clever and generous and had a series of surprises for us which included gift certificates to two other local shops. One of them recommended Steve’s to her. I received a call that Steve’s wanted to know my time frame for delivery. However, I was nearby and offered to pick up the bouquet — in return, Jan offered me four chocolate truffles from The Sweet Granada, made in Emporia.
I drove by and the bouquet was ready with the assorted truffles. The vase is stunning on its own, and there were beautiful roses and other flowers arranged artfully (see photo). What is amazing is that it has been a week and the flowers are still perfectly fresh and beautiful. I have watered them but did not need anything else to keep them in excellent condition. To me that shows how Steve’s take care of its flowers and customers!

My family is from Kansas but now lives in Massachusetts. My father died and his wish was to be buried in Kansas. He was a veteran so we planned a military funeral. We needed flowers so I found Steve’s Floral online. Spoke with Jan specified flowers and flew out to Kansas. She said we wouldn’t need to worry about anything, and we didn’t. The arrangements were beautiful and excellent quality. A small bouquet was left on the grave in the direct hot August sun at 11am. 8 hours later we went back to see the markers. The iris’, sunflowers, and roses were as beautiful as when they were delivered at 930am. Jan wowed with her excellent customer service and fantastic flower quality. Have family in Kansas and will order from Steves again.

Definitely the best florist in Manhattan. A bit more money than others, but the creative arrangements and customer service are so worth it.
