NYC Menagerie

My boyfriend and I have had 2 amazing experiences with Rosalie and would highly recommend NYC Menagerie to anyone.
We rescued a puppy, Zoe, last August and were fortunate enough to have Rosalie photograph her while she was only 9 weeks old. These photos are easily our favorite photos of Zoe when she was a puppy. Rosalie was able to perfectly capture her personality.
A little over a month ago we were fortunate enough to have Rosalie come back to photograph Zoe. As soon as Zoe saw Rosalie she ran up to her and welcomed her like a long lost friend. While Zoe is rather friendly, she was immediately drawn to Rosalie in a manner I don’t see too often. Rosalie definitely has a manner about her that simultaneously attracts animals while making them feel comfortable and at ease. Rosalie accompanied us on one of our daily walks in the park to document a typical day for us, she fit in with the «pack» naturally making the whole experience feel like an outing with a friend. We decided that for this shoot we’d like to be in a few of the photos, and Rosalie was able to incorporate us in a very natural manner. These photos were again amazing!
We live in Washington, DC, so we’re lucky that Rosalie is wiling to come down from NYC to help us document our dog’s (furry baby’s) development.

I commissioned Rosalie for a photo shoot with my girlfriend and our two year old Italian Greyhound as a present for my girlfriend’s birthday. Rosalie was fantastic — she solicited my girlfriend’s ideas and incorporated them into our photo shoot and effectively directed us and our puppy for the two hour shoot. Rosalie’s positive attitude made the entire experience a blast.
Rosalie took amazing and creative shots of our family and we were blown away when we saw the results. I am very happy that I came across Rosalie’s website because the quality of her work is excellent and her prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Rosalie O’Connor and NYC Menagerie.
