New York Trolley Company

I used NY trolley company for our wedding day for the bridal party transportation around Brooklyn and it worked perfectly! Our driver was Reynaldo. He was fantastic! He answered my call the day before the big day to confirm all the details, was on time the day of, knew where he was going around Brooklyn, and even played «Going to the Chapel of love» on his ipod when we got into the trolley on the way to the church. Everyone in the trolley was crying with happy tears on the drive from the hotel to the church with the music playing. It was amazing and so surreal! He also was cool was us having beers and champagne on the bus and let us hook our phone up to play our own music playlist. He was the best — definitely request him if he’s available. The trolley was clean and looked amazing in our pictures!

We used them for our wedding to transport our wedding party from manhattan to brooklyn. Their service was great. They arrived at the church on time and carefully drove to our destination without any issues despite NYC traffic. Its not a limo or a luxurious Hummer… its a trolley and the price was perfect for 30+ people looking for a casual ride. I highly recommend them!

Could I give this a million stars?
My friends and i had the best night of our lives on this trolley. I am not even kidding when I say that. We rode around for 3 hours and went on the route I had picked. We saw all the touristy spots and took plenty of pictures.
Reynaldo was fantastic. He called me an hour before he arrived to let me know he was on his way. He was parked outside my pick up place 30 minutes early. He was accommodating to my last minute change. He had the iPod blasting as we came on. He was patient with us as we got on and off to take pictures and dance in the middle of Lincoln Center or Times Square. He was friendly to all my guests, and all my guests enjoyed talking to him.
It was way better than my expectations. My friends and I are already thinking of the next event we want to do this for :)

While a two-​hour trolley ride through New York City may sound like a good idea, the reality is that you’re going to be stuck in traffic for most of the time no matter what time frame you choose.
Compound that with a driver who thinks «air conditioning» means «heat» and a trolley full of out-​of-​towners, and you have yourself a uniquely mediocre and painfully slow joy ride through Manhattan.
Nonetheless, if the New York Trolley Company can improve its sound system, train its drivers and figure out hot from cold, it will have a fun and enjoyable product to offer the city.

I was wondering how could it be possible that this company had not been rated before… it seems they’ve been around for three years now.
I got the idea from Living Social voucher and started to look for reviews… and nothing, and I was wary because it was quite a bunch of money. So I contacted them and Dave replied right away. I booked almost six months in advance and it was a breeze.
Email contact was super easy, he replied to all my questions… so I was all set!
The only snag was that I was preparing a birthday surprise and had everything planned to the minute. The trolley arrived 15 minutes late because of traffic (on a Sunday evening.) and it could have ruined the surprise had it not been for the friends who were helping and were in touch with the driver.
Our driver, Gerard, was charming and patient with directions!
I recommend!
