Absolutely horrible experience just trying to make an appointment. I was immediately put on hold for a few minutes. When the receptionist finally came back on, she mumbled something. When I asked her to repeat herself because i didn’t hear her, she became extremely rude. Extremely disrespectful in how she speaks with people on the phone can only correlate to a horrible experience in the office. I received this place as a referral from my insurance company but will never use them due to the way i was treated on the phone. Thank god I never made my way into the office!

I agree with Melissa F. The staff was all very friendly and professional and Dr. Rief knew exactly where to pinpoint all my hidden aches and pains. I rarely feel comfortable at a doc’s office but I felt at ease here and I’m looking forward to working with Dr Rief and the staff going forward. Yes, they do x-rays on site and there is a lot of privacy. The doctor and staff really make you feel at ease and for the first time I feel hopeful that I am on the right track to treating my back problems. I look forward to my next visit to discuss x-ray results and next steps. They are very committed to the practice and in the short time I was there I felt that they’ll literally«have my back» on my road to recovery. If you’re looking for a chiropractor in midtown east area look no further.

apparently my body thinks that it’s cool to do things now that it isn’t actually supposed to do for another 20 – 30 years(or ever), like let’s say, have back issues??? i’ll spare the grueling details, but i «did something to my back»(that seems to be the standard way to state such problems) last week and felt like i needed to have it «snapped back into place»(or more appropriately termed, «adjusted»). my one previous chiropractor experience was with a hokey d-bag who told me that if i didn’t come in for«treatment» at least 2−3x/wk for 3 months, I would be DOOOOMED! he tainted my view of chiropractic medicine, but i decided to give it one last try. anyway, i ended up seeing Dr. Rief @ Midtown Total Health and he was awesome. very down to earth, chatty, knowledgeable, and realistic with tips i could use in my day-to-day life to improve my posture, etc. the receptionist was super friendly and helpful, as was Dr. Weisberg(i think he owns the practice?) who happened to be wandering around the office during my visit. OH! and they also take their own x-rays on-site, which was convenient. overall, think of Midtown Total Health as a practice with mom-and-pop-shop charm and professional/competent clinicians. i’ve come to decide that more serious back issues warrant orthopedic spine docs(or just lots of Bikram yoga), but for seemingly acute issues, i prefer to see a chiropractor, and am thus stoked that I found Midtown Total Health.
