I believe Meadowlark Hills is a good facility for elderly people, the sick, and all stages of the twilight years because of the caring and highly-trained staff. The grounds are well-maintained, equipment for patients seem to be serviceable, facilities are varied and developed and activities are plentiful. My elderly mother has been here twice during many different stages of her illnesses and I was satisfied with the care I observed she received. In the end there is no easy way to deal with the reasons why people come here but I am very thankful for the understanding and preserving of dignity from the staff.

As a former employee I have to say that I think the staff here really cares about the patients. This is a reflection of how the employees are treated. It’s a warm and inviting environment. Staff are screened before being hired to not only have the skills but to be the type of people who will say hello to people living in the community when passing them in the hallway. As a concierge I was happy to sit and talk to any company that came by and as a waitress many customers were pleased at my remembering just how they like things, for instance, no ice. I’d make sure that in her spot was a glass of cold water with no ice. I’m certain there are other employees like myself and I have seen other employees like myself. I know many girls I went to school with work there and so does my cousin.
