went here to get fingerprinted for work. It was relatively easy and they were pretty quick.

I don’t normally write reviews but I have to hand it to these guys, I had dozens of old family videos on those old time reels from my parents plus my old recordings on tape. I wanted to transfer them over to MP4 to share with my family during the holidays. These guys made our new year, the videos came out great they even added in music to the silent films that were on the reels. Everything came out so great that I’m searching for more tapes to transfer over. I also gave them my grandparents old wedding photo to restore. The man said it takes a few days so I’ll update this review then. Thanks again.

I have used Imaging Coliseum for years to print digital photos and to digitize negatives. The work is always excellent and the prices are very fair. If a photo does not turn out perfectly, a second is always provided without having to request one. The website application to upload photos is convenient, although sometimes it is down. I wish they had weekend or late evening hours, but overall this is a great neighborhood photo shop with friendly service.

With the advent of CVS do-it-yourself places, people forget about photo quality but, as a person who takes pride in her photos, when it comes to developing and framing, I go to one place: Imaging Coliseum. I found Imaging Coliseum when I worked in the area and now make the trek up to 39th because I trust them with my photos. For the quality of work, the prices are unbeatable and the service is always top notch. The guys are nice and are amenable to whatever special circumstances I throw at them. If there is one thing I have learned in this city, it is that amazing quality, friendly service and great prices in one place is a rare thing to come by, which is why I’m so glad I finally found a good photo place like Imaging Coliseum! All in all, the only place I’ll trust my to develop my photos and frame my pictures.

–The job(simply developing 2 rolls of film and making 1 set of 4×5 prints) wasn’t done even a day after they told me it would be ready. –Forgot that I even asked them to make prints(so I had to come back once again). –Looks like they do framing also but if they couldn’t do this correctly, I certainly wouldn’t trust them with anything harder. –only good part of this experience is that I demanded a discount for messing up my order and wasting my time and they took 20% off. –prices were average(even with the discount). My experience: After looking for a place close to my work to develop some film and print my pictures, I walked by this place and decided to give it a try. I distinctly asked that they develop the negatives and make 4×5 prints. They asked what time I needed them done and I replied the next day was fine. I had to work late the next day and by the time I got there, the business was closed(it was 7, so that’s totally reasonable). The day after that, I came in on my lunch break to pick everything up. First, they couldn’t find my order, then they realized it was still on the drying rack so they bundled up my negatives and began to ring me up. When I asked where my prints were, they said I hadn’t ordered any. I told him that I most definitely had because why would I just want the negatives, and he replied that the other guy working there had probably forgotten. He then told me to come back in 5 minutes and he would have them done. I came back 10 minutes later and still had to wait another 10 until they were ready. When he finally gave me my prints I told him I really should get a discount for all the inconvenience they had caused me and he took 20% off the cost of my prints(but not my negatives). There are a thousand better places to get film developed in NY, choose any but this one.
