Greek and Handy

I had a wonderful experience with Francis and everyone working with him. He paid attention to all my expressed wishes and worked hard to incorporate everything I wanted into my space. My space is a small studio apt with wonderful views, lots of sunshine and light, and a lovely terrace. Francis designed a gorgeous marble bathroom and a beautiful main room with lots of cabinets, drawers and shelves for storage. His lighting ideas were terrific and the glossy paint on the walls and cabinets is exactly what I wanted. All his ideas were terrific — and he worked with a number of handicaps including a coop board and management company that were difficult to deal with at times. The job took about twice as long as planned — because of the delays caused waiting for approvals from the board and the management company — especially for the central A/​C — but Francis was patient, available at all times and ready to work as soon as approval was granted. I spent the last 3 months of the job in Paris but Francis was in constant contact and kept me abreast of all the work being done and assisted with all the decisions I had to make. I have had the most wonderful experience with Francis through each stage of my project. During his initial consultation, he made so many great suggestions for how I could best transform my working space. He listened very attentively to my concerns, and was able to immediately come up with workable and efficient solutions. He returned with professional renderings of the proposed work to my doctor’s practice treatment room — I needed storage for medical records, space for inventory and plenty of space for supplies, specialized pull-​out drawers for items unique to my practice, counter space and working space. His proposal pulled it all together just perfectly! In addition, he suggested three pullout platforms to expand the countertop when I need more working space — a brilliant solution. I saw my last patient on Saturday evening, moved a few things out of the space, and by Monday afternoon, I had a beautiful, sleek, perfectly designed working modern treatment room. I couldn’t be happier with the design, execution and final result! Francis is highly personable, straightforward, creative, and truly talented at his craft.
