ESPA Nail & Spa Orange 64

This place has come under new management and service has declined. I occasionally have brought friends here over the years, and will not do it again. Went with 2 girlfriends a few months ago and one of them left feeling very swindled and I don’t blame her. I get that they are a business out to make money, but they realty ought to be more subtle about it. Also, I’ve noticed that the quality of service lately is not as it used to be. I’ll be looking for a new place to get my manis by the office, sadly.

The husband and wife team greet you with a smile and take your coat. They bring you green tea and a heated pillow for your back. They gave me the better spa package for the price of a regular package and threw in an extra message. It’s clean, its friendly, and it’s close to convenient subway stops.

The new owners of this salon are a lovely married couple, who’s wife hails from another «Nail & Spa’ in the area on 2^nd Ave. She has been doing my nails for about 10 yrs, always a great job and with a smile.
By comparison, this newbie is quiet and no frills. They offer green tea or water to anyone who walks in; I had a great massage once Friday night that was much needed. And if you’re nice enough, they might even offer you some homemade Korean BBQ! Unlike the ‘other place’, they have a rewards program where you can earn free services based on points accumulated. Great Mon-​Wed specials and spa packages.
Definitely give them a try.

Manicure and an Unenjoyable back massage. Contemplated going back tomorrow on my lunch break so they can take the gel off and paint my nails but think ill just write a bad review instead.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I am writing this as the blood is drying on my toe. OUCH! The cheap pedicure was being done SO QUICKLY, SO SLOPPILY, that my toe is killing me. Yes, they are nice. very nice. Yes, the chair is comfortable. But now I have to go to the doctor. Not so cheap. Not so comfortable. THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU CLIMB THE STAIRS.

Honestly this is as good as it gets. I’m not one for walking up to 2^nd floor businesses in Manhattan but I needed to find a nail salon badly. Just as I was about to give up I stumble upon a sign that said Nails and points to the 2^nd Floor. So up I go. The nail salon is clean, and you can actually understand the people that work in the shop. So I get the works mani, pedi, and eyebrows. The massage chair is so wonderful and there are two trays on each side of you for your bags or if you want to grab a quick snack. In my case, I had some fruit I brought with me to tie me over. Water was great with sea salt, and took her time. After my mani was done my manicurist escorted me to the wax room which also was very clean. She monitored my hands to make sure my nails did not smudge. After wards I sat down to dry my nails and she concluded with a nice shoulder massage. At first it was weird but then I just realized it was customary. Gotta love it! In addition, they have hot towels, and sanitize and steam all equipment used. Only negative is they don’t have a tip line when you use a credit card so bring cash. I left that nail shop completely relaxed. 10 stars in my book!
