My dads friend recommended this place for him to get his iPhone screen fixed when he shattered it so when I shattered mine, since my dad was pleased with his results, I decided to come here. I am not a huge believer on going to third party repair places — I was planning on going to the Apple Store since the screen repair price is basically the same price — however the appointment slots get filled up so fast and wait time at the Apple Store is way too long and I couldn’t fit it in my schedule. So i reluctantly came here. I don’t regret it at all! I dropped my phone off and came back to get it within an hour with no huge impact on my daily schedule, I am very pleased with the results, and the service was nice and friendly.

I called to get an estimate for my cracked iPhone 5s glass screen. The person on the phone said it would be $ 75. I was very surprised it was so cheep since I was calling around all day, so I asked again just to be sure. «$ 75 for the iPhone 5S», I asked, with emphasis on 5S, and he replied«yes, $ 75.» I went there a week later. But to my surprise, the technicians that fix iPhone screens are only available certain days, which they did not tell me on the phone. Then the associate told me the pricing for $ 180 for the glass replacement. I was very angry that they gave me a false pricing quote and didn’t bother to tell me that their technicians don’t work every day that they are open. It was a huge waste of my day. I am VERYDISAPPOINTED.

I just called to get a quote for a cracked screen on a Samsung Galaxy S III. The lady said«That’s $ 240+ tax for the glass and LCD.» To which I reply, «The LCD works, I only need a crack repaired.» To which she very rudely replies, «I’m not sure if you heard what I just finished telling you, but there is no possible way we can repair the glass without replacing the LCD.» Placed another phone call to Sunny Cellphone Repair in Chinatown and the guy promptly says«$ 120 and it takes half hour». Rude ass people and ridiculous pricing.

I needed the digitizer plus the earpiece and cable replaced on my Droid, which involves essentially taking the entire phone apart, and I was really happy with the service here. The labor charge was only $ 45 — for less involved repairs it’s usually $ 35, according to the sign in the shop — and the parts were also only $ 45, which was very slightly cheaper(including taxes and shipping) than I was able to find them online. The repair itself was quick(even the parts arrived overnight) and perfectly done; I was quite happy. I was pleased that they were willing to just due the replacement per my instructions, rather than attempt to diagnose the phone. I got what I thought was just exactly the right amount of pushback — gee ma’am, don’t you want us to see what the problem is? — just exactly the amount a responsible tech should use to double-check that the customer knows what they’re talking about(or at least understands the consequences of not getting professional advice). It was refreshing. The only reason that this isn’t five stars is that they have rather inconvenient hours — 8am to 6pm, Monday-Friday, and they’re apparently closed Saturdays, even though the sign in front of the store gives Saturday hours too.(However, if you work early to late like me, they also have a mail-in service. Also there are 2 other Manhattan locations — Nassau St and 34th St — so maybe one is close to where you work, so you can sneak out at lunch.) I do understand that you don’t want to pay high-quality techs to work twelve hours a day, but I sort of wish that they had extended pick-up/drop-off hours.(Also, their hours aren’t listed on the website — tsk!) Also, I don’t recommend using the form on the website to ask about your repair — I recommend dropping in or calling. I didn’t get a very fast response via the form, and the info I entered into the form didn’t seem to be available to the techs once I brought my phone in.
