Agree with the others — a great sandwich shop that’s hidden from all the tourists so plus point. Chicken avocado and turkey brie are the only ones I’ve had so far and they’re awesome as wraps. They are around 10 $ but I find that half the sandwich is filling for lunch for a small person like myself so the price is reasonable. Took away one star because service isn’t the best. They sometimes forget stuff and don’t even apologize.

This is the best hidden secret for us folks who work in the market. On a good day there arent any lines. You can walk right by it if you’re not looking. Located inside of the kitchen supply store — this deli is the home of many incredible combinations. Items off the menu are crazy good — you can spot them on colored paper around the counter. Nice & Spicy –for example — one of my favorites is chipotle mayo, chicken, lettuce & tomato.

Not my favorite places in the Chelsea Market to eat but it’s still good. Its hidden inside a kitchen/cooking supply store, that being good since they won’t get crazy long times. I ordered the french tuna sandwhich which was just okay. I believe it was a buzzfeed(I could be wrong) article that I read that said it was one of the«must tries» of the Chelsea Market, I wouldn’t after. It was just OK. The tuna had olives mixed inside in which I personally liked but it still felt like something was missing. The service was also just OK, while looking at what they offer the counter girl just stood there, not even a hello until I was ready to order.

Crappy food, with rude service. We had a «soprano» — clever name! — and the purportedly«Four Ps.» Edible. Barely. Way overpriced. Nasty folks at the counter, in the grand central station that is Bowery Eats.(Hey. NOT secret.) Deli meat, from the Boars Head fridge. Supermarket vegetables, such as they are. This is yet another craphoole, unfortunately being flogged by Serious Eats, which has no credibility. Avoid.

My experience here was much like going to a film that started out as an under the radar indie, then it blows up, you see it based on the rave reviews — and it’s a letdown. This place is in a cooking appliance shop, which is unique. But the sandwiches are bland, very poorly balanced(the bread often is the only feature taste in the sandwich because of a lack of proportion) and the ingredients are largely mediocre. This would be an accessible sandwich shop in a city with one or two sandwich shops, but in this neighborhood, in this city, it’s not even close to worth a visit — unless you need a colander and frying pan as well.

If you’re looking for a quick sandwich in the Chelsea Market, you can’t go wrong with Bowery Eats. Lots of different sandwiches but all pretty good. Best part about it is that tourists don’t know about it really so usually there’s no line.

This«deli» is really just a deli counter tucked away in a cooking supply store in Chelsea Market. We stumbled across this because it was a saturday at lunch time and chelsea market was packed and we were starving and didn’t want to wait. I think it’s a great little hidden treasure, especially if you live in the area! They have lots of different sandwich options, and you can get them on various breads or in a wrap, or whatever your heart desires. The sandwiches are made fresh on the spot, and they really are delicious! Nothing out of the ordinary for a deli sandwich, but sometimes you just appreciate a sub sandwich with fresh meat and vegetables and a great horseradish sauce(in my case with thick slices of roast beef!). I think the best part about this place is you get a huge sub for only $ 8. I was starving and couldn’t even finish mine. It’s great to grab a sub here and walk over the high line and enjoy your sandwich outside. If I lived or worked nearby here I could see myself coming by quite often.

Hit or miss. First, I love the fact that they have Mash drinks, they are awesome. Another thing I enjoy is the chip selection, not sure of the brand, but the Maui Onion in the purple bag is awesome. Now onto the sum and substance. The sandwiches are mediocre at best. Not enough meat, too little sauce, dry/stale bread is often the complaint out of at least one person we go there with. I hope that they read this review and address the complaints, but based on the complacency of those employed by this group I think my complaints will stay.

Chicken pesto and turkey brie are always good here in any way. You can also get your order over greens instead if you don’t want carbs. This is my go-to spot for lunch since I work in the building.

I work in Chelsea Market and this is my go-to lunch destination. It’s about $ 9 bucks for a sandwich — the portions are pretty big and it’s definitely a better bargain than any other place inside Chelsea Market. My favorites here are the turkey brie, chicken pesto, avocado supreme, bowery burrito and chicken jalapeño. Admittedly, the chicken is a little on the dry side but it’s grilled and healthy for you. So far, there’s only been one sandwich that I wasn’t a fan of and that’s the meatball sub. The meatballs are not very good. in fact, I’m not even sure what type of meat it is. Tip for those who are trying to cut down on carbs — you can ask them to make any sandwich into a salad. They’ll substitute the wrap/bread/roll with a side of mixed greens. Also, don’t forget to ask for the loyalty card. You get a free sandwich after you’ve purchased 10!

i had a foul turkey sandwich here – everything was completely flavorless. I had been told by a friend that the sandwiches here were good, but with so many legitimately good options under the same roof, I felt as though I had been duped.

Absolutely HORRENDOUS. This is not chicken breast — this is chicken jerky. Bread was stale too. This is one of those places you want to like, then you try it and are terribly disappointed. Fortunately for you, I just saved you the trouble.

I’ve recently moved offices to the meatpacking district for a few months(a very welcome change from the drudgery of midtown!) and was looking for a regular lunch spot. Well, I am glad to report that I have found it. I have never been that impressed with the Chelsea Markets(apart from a couple of good spots like Ninth Street Espresso), however, Bowery Eats was a revelation. As the other reviews note, you wouldn’t really know it was there unless you were looking for it, it’s a very basic little sandwhich shop, but WOW, what they do, they do well! I grabbed a roast beef whole wheat baguette with watercress, tomatoe and dijon — devine! The beef was moist and tender, the watercress and tomatoe fresh and crisp and the roll was excellent. What’s more, they have a menu of about 30 items and it all looks delicious, I intend to eat my way through the entire list before I finish work in the area!

This gem of a deli is hidden inside Bowery Kitchen Supplies, which is hidden inside the arcade-style Chelsea market. Reminds me of those Matryoshka dolls I fascinated about as a kid… BKS is where you will find all your kitchen gadget needs. If kitchenware is your thing, then this is your nirvana. Luckily for my wallet, kitchen gadgets don’t induce euphoria in me. The Bowery Eats deli is a no frills deli inside a kitchen supply store, but don’t let that fool you. They make some of the best sandwiches in NYC. After a walk over from the Chelsea art galleries, I worked up a good appetite . Chelsea market on the weekends is really scary. Way too many people and at times I worry it is a fire hazard. But I digress. I was not in the mood to wait in long lines for mediocre food. There was no line when I arrived and was able to order immediately. I got the 4P special which is roasted pork, prosciutto, parmesan cheese, and roasted peppers on a toasted wheat baguette. This sandwich was fantastic! I was able to enjoy it for two meals. The roasted pork was moist and tender. The other ingredients melded well with the roasted pork. I am not a big deli person. I may eat one deli sandwich once every few months, but this sandwich was so worth it! I like that this place is hidden so you don’t have the tourist lining up and taking pics. Get one of these sandwiches to-go and go to the Highline. Makes for a beautiful Saturday afternoon.
