Toni is a skin magician! I have walked past this beautiful spot for a few years but never quite made it in. Finally made an appointment after realizing I have not had a facial for 18 months and my brows were a total mess. After my facial and brow wax with her, I walked out looking 5 years younger. It was not just Toni’s obvious skill, experience and knowledge but also the cozy atmosphere and lovely space that made my experience so wonderful. I am so happy to have finally become a client and look forward to many years of great skin thanks to Toni!

Have been going to Toni for almost 10 years.
Am an active triathlete who is in pools, sweating profusely in the Park almost every morning, and racing often. Which means I break out… A LOT.
Toni/​her team are very thorough and give great facials using Yonka products. It’s SO hard to find salons that use Yonka — check Yonka’s website, not a lot of retailers do. I walked by her old LES spot and saw the Yonka sign, which I have been faithful to ever since I got more active/​my skin started reacting poorly with more commercial brands (Clinique, Lancome, etc — La Mer is wwaaaaayyy too much $$ for what it does). As stressful as facial extractions can be, I never seem to stay awake once the mask comes on! It’s that relaxing here!
Bloom also uses high quality aloe based wax — that doesn’t require papers/​strips. And if you need a massage, she’ll «torture» you, but it’s the most awesome deep tissue massage. And trust me, as an athlete, I have had my share of deep tissue massages from everyone (PT’s, Asian Tui-​Na, and fancy shmancy spas).
I love that I can get all of my «beautifying» treatments in one go and it’s in a great location to grab a good, quick bite after.
Bonus: if you do her pre-​pay plan, you can get a great discount on ongoing services.
Tip: she only takes appointments. No walk-​ins.

AMAZING SPA! BEST FACIAL IN NYC– Everyone should come here it is reasonable, clean and the best facial in the city. She is a master of her craft, with years of experience she is fair efficient and sooo thorough. She treats her customers like family and really cares. Whenever i leave my skin looks and feels amazing. I had a problem breaking out and since i started using the yonka products i have had no problems. Highly Recomended!

Bloom Skin Care is one of those rare neighborhood gems you go to and never want to tell anyone else in case it gets really busy and you can’t get an appointment when you want!
So like J. T (who I actually have never met) — I met Toni a year ago at another salon on the LES and I made sure that I kept in touch when she decided to move to the East Village because finding a decent beautician in this city is in my opinion super hard to find.
Here are the services I have tried and why Toni is my ROCKSTAR!
1. Awesome Brazilian wax — they use quality salon wax (not the cheap strip stuff) and strong attention to detail (no stray hairs left behind) — I never go on my beach vacations without popping by for a visit.
2. Killer massage — now I am not talking about just any massage, I am talking about a deep tissue massage from a set of hands that have been practicing the correct technique for years.
I say this with because I am really fussy when it comes to deep tissue massages and over the years I have experienced some bad massages but every time I have visited Toni for a deep tissue she has been very consistent in finding those nooks between your muscles which have been causing you grief after your long hours in the office and you will feel reluctant to get off that massage bed once the time is up.
3. Pretty damn good facial — now I don’t often get facials but when I did get one done by Toni — I was really impress with her extractions and skin felt like a million dollars again.
All I can say is, make an appointment and go for a visit — Bloom Skin Care actually offers many more fantastic services that I haven’t got around to trying!

If we were allowed to post pictures to go along with reviews, I wouldn’t even need to write this. I would just post a picture of my skin BEFORE I met Toni (the skin-​magician behind the divine BLOOM SKIN CARE in the East Village of Manhattan) and AFTER, and then rest my case.
Since I can not use the old «pic is worth 1000 words» tried and true tactic, I’ll just say that since getting regular monthly facials from Toni for the past 2 years, not just my skin but my entire quality of life has skyrocketed. Clearer skin has given me more confidence. More confidence has led me to meeting a fantastic man. Now he’s my fiancé, soon he’ll be my husband… and guess who is coming as my guest of honor (as long as I get a pre-​wedding facial out of it!)…
Seriously. Toni is the best! She’s so thorough, so professional, never tries to up-​sell. She advises you on the products you need to get the skin you want. There have been so many times where I’ve tried to buy the more expensive stuff– because it just looked so cool and must-​have– and Toni would slap my hand and say «why waste your money? These are what you need, nothing else for right now. I will tell you when you need to spend more money. You’re too young to use those yet.»
