Juli is still the best in the Southbay including Manhattan Beach and Torrance. Many clients are my friends and we all love what she does. She is skilled in all types of hair from fine, medium length to curly, short to long, straight. She is a skilled colorist and is very knowledgeable about what brands are the safest and healthiest. She cares about her clients and makes sure we all look are absolute best.

Tangles has become my new favorite. I went to Julie for cut and color and came out looking great. Everyone is warm and friendly, and from what I saw, very talented. Such a relief not to have to pay $ 300 for a fantastic color anymore! Bye bye Hush Hush.

I was looking for a place to get a cut and camp today, and lucked out twice — Tangles is open on Monday (when most other salons are not), and I also got Tina, who did a great job on my cut and color! And, she even stayed late to fit me in. Thanks!

Tina Stover is fantastic. She is fun, upbeat and a master of color. I have been seeing her for 2 years and my husband goes to her for cuts. Salon is adorable and intimate. Parking can be a bit of a challenge during weekends, lunch hours and alternate side parking days.

Lyn is fabulous! She is detail-​oriented, and always get her cuts just right. She books her appointments personally, so you’ll call Tangles first and they they will redirect you to her personal business number. I love this, because if one time slot doesn’t work, she’ll work with you to find another, alway very flexible!

Rikki at Tangles has been cutting my hair for quite some time now. She is great. She cuts it naturally, so it doesn’t look like it’s just been cut. I love that. I would recommend her to anyone needing to get their hair cut. It’s great to have confidence in your hair stylist. I’m thinking about putting her in my will.

I’m ultra-​picky about my haircut. I’ve tried several places throughout Torrance and Manhattan Beach areas. I finally found this place and have been back several times. Lynn H. is my stylist and I couldn’t be happier; her precision and professional honestly is what keeps me going back. She scissor and hand razor cuts my hair, even taking timeout to trim my eyebrows. Wow! Who does that? I always get compliments and couldn’t be more thrilled. Something I take for granted everyday, a haircut, is no longer the case. I know she cuts woman’s hair too ranging from conservative to funky taste. The girls come out looking killer! I should get paid for this… hear me Lynn?!

This week was my second time going to Rikki at Tangles. I found the salon because I was unhappy with my current situation with hairdressers (far, expensive) and realized my boyfriend always talks about how happy he is with the hairdresser who cuts his hair. Rikki!
I have tried quite a few different hairdressers since moving to Los Angeles 2 and a half years ago and have either found them way to expensive or not good at accomplishing what I want. I have past the shoulder lengths hair and usually get natural but bright looking blonde highlights. Rikki has found the perfect blond for my hair and she listens to what I want with my cut.
The salon is clean, nice, and everyone I have met has been extremely friendly.
This fall I will be trusting Rikki to take my hair darker! Definitely recommend Tangles if you are in the MB area, looking for someone good at blonde, and for men’s cuts as well.

I drive from Orange County to see Rikki. She took me from black to blonde and gave me a beautiful red transition. She listens and tells you the truth about what will look good.

Tangles is an amazing hidden treasure in the quaint northern Manhattan Beach community, and Eli is an even more hidden treasure with a small quiet room in the back of the salon. She provides you with relaxing, fast, expert procedures from waxing to facials. Not only does she have a plethora of knowledge on skin and beauty she really loves what she does and it shows through her work. I recommend her over any day or luxury spa around. Her prices are reasonable and her work is impeccable.
If you have an extra hour for a facial I highly recommend booking an appointment with her today! Your face will never look better and the knowledge of your skin you walk away with cannot be replaced.
