Quatrine Custom Furniture

DO NOT! Agree with the two reviews below. I purchased a sofa and a chair over 10 years ago and was sold on the fact that this was «washable» … My slipcovers have shredded TWICE now after being washed than less than 10 times (once a year, on GENTLE cycle)…
Their store manager has been unhelpful and promised me that she was contacting the owner about my issue since this is the second time. Well, upon further investigation I found out she not only did not, but then is trying to get me to purchase a brand new slipcover instead of helping to replace the mess of the slipcover that has shredded.
On another note, my fabric has been discontinued, I am guessing to all the issues with washability.
Upon telling her NO way would I be replacing this, I again asked for the owners email info. She gave me the email to customer service!
This place is a joke.
Save your money and sanity and purchase elsewhere. Like the previous reviews state, they are unprofessional, unhelpful and rude.
I will now be contacting Angie’s list, the BBB and filing in small claims since they refuse to help.
Shame on this company.

My husband and I decided to purchase the best sofa we could find (within reason) and were directed to Quatrine Custom Furniture. After weeks of communication with Sharon at the Manhattan Beach site we decided to drive up from San Diego and finally order our new couch. Sharon was very helpful and considerate to us. We placed our couch order and we were told it would take approximately six weeks. After six weeks, as projected, we opted to pick up the sofa ourselves and save the delivery fee. We are extremely satisfied and thrilled with our purchase. The couch is just what we wanted and we will probably order a new slip cover in the future to have a second option. Would highly recommend Quatrine to anyone needing a quality furniture piece, willing to spend the money to get that quality. 5 stars!!!

I recently decided to redecorate my living room and was referred by a friend to Quatrine in Manhattan Beach. The store is so clean and inviting, and the staff were all extremely helpful and knowledgable. I love how all their pieces are so unique and customizable! With so many options, I was having trouble choosing a fabric for my sectional. The design consultant that worked with me was especially patient with me and took the time to walk me through the process… asking questions about my personal style and preferences. She put together several options for me and made my decision so much easier! It’s wonderful having such skilled professionals right there in the store to give advice. I love my new updated living room!

DON“T! We are repeat customers having great experiences 6 and 10 years ago. Based upon our experience, we recently ordered additional furniture pieces. A BIG MISTAKE. Today’s MB sales staff is unfriendly, incompetent and clueless managing customers orders. No idea of delivery dates or follow-​up without constant requests. No reply to emails and constant apologies for retracting delivery dates. There are many better options for your hard earned money.

STAY AWAY. They completely messed up my order. The couch and chair measurements were all wrong. They were and are rude on the phone. Once they deliver the finished product you are treated like dirt. They run out of fabric on you. They can not replace the fabric you ordered. The employee turnover is so great don’t expect the person you ordered from to be working when your completely wrong order arrives. The showroom was cut in half for a reason. Look elsewhere. They owe me over $ 10,000 for my shitty couch that is all wrong. They suck. STAY AWAY

Quatrine is a custom furniture manufacturer best known for their slip covered sofas, sectionals and chairs. They also manufacture tables and consoles which can be custom made to your specifications.
I bought a custom Chenille slip covered sofa here and have to tell you that the quality and construction is superior when compared to the mass manufactured products found in most furniture stores. Different options are available for the fill of your sofa (or what ever you are designing) along with a huge variety of fabrics and trims. I choose the ¹⁰⁄₉₀ which is 10% goose down and 90% goose feather. The nice thing about the slip cover is that you can change it to accommodate your décor for the different seasons of the year. Most can be washed as well. Their prices are not cheap. However, when you consider the construction and quality of what you are buying, I believe it pays to spend a little more for great quality that lasts for years to come.
